She attends Ridgeview outpatient clinic weekly and gets all of her medications thru them. One advantage is the choice of people I have to interact with. When I lived in an apartment just to take the trash out I would have to put on shoulder pads and mow down 8 kids just to get there. As opposed to in my home I don’t have to leave if I choose not to. I am fully independent with all my amenities at my fingertips. Another perk is the space we have as opposed to in an apartment, I was forced to share a wall with someone so if I chose to have company or play my music there would be an overweight security guard knocking on my door hassling me to turn it down. By owning my own home now I sort of feel like my own boss in the sense that I am not regulated by the manager of an apartment. The only rules I have to abide by are my own. I also feel overall safer with my family, and the environment is much more peaceful to relax in. Where as in my apartment I felt if I wanted time outside it would take a pair of head phones and a blindfold to relax.
