What are the rules of the race BMX? We thought we'd be a guide to easily digestible basic rules to compete in a BMX bike.
BMX is short for bicycle motocross and BMX racing is an off-road bike racing discipline that sees drivers compete for first place in the BMX dirt track back a specifically designed, with rollers, berms and jumps before the finish line.

Heat qualification process consists of quarter-finals and semi-finals, with the top four riders at the end of each round progressing to the next round of competition until eight possible drivers qualified for the final.
While amateur events can have only one race to decide which four riders advance from every quarter or semi-finals, Olympic rules see three races each quarter and semi-final heat.
