Many mascaras promise elegant or seductive eyelashes, yet most companies vaguely explain the extra couple makeup accessories necessary or the application technique necessary to gain the desired effect – unintentionally false advertising. Most companies will argue the expectation the customer already knows how to apply mascara, others will simply apologize for the dissatisfaction of the product. It is often the customer who is making the best of an unsatisfactory product, but the companies adding the slightest bit of information can result in much improved results. CoverGirl’s Bombshell mascara in the LashBlast line becomes the example. The Bombshell mascara is promises to deliver “big, sexy bombshell lashes” (“Bombshell Volume By LashBlast Mascara”).
