Heroes and Villains- Review

3D Characters
Hero
my hero character looks very cute and interesting. To create the 3D design of my hero, I used the software called Serif Draw plus which was provided from school. As instructed by client brief I had to use vector tools so, I found this software suitable for making my hero character. I only used primary elements as instructed by the client brief which means I have to create it myself. While designing the net for my hero, I made sure that the net is single and fits on one piece of A4 sized paper and the purpose of doing this was to fulfill the needs of client brief. I used many different vector tools to design the net. I used different colors to give my design a heroic look. I also used chain brush on his arms to make him look more powerful. To make the net easy to assemble for my target audience, I included instructions like fold and cut lines. Purpose of doing this was to fulfill the requirements of the client brief, which was to put clear instructions for assembling the character on the net.
Villain
I think that my villains design is very interesting. To create my villains design I used the same software that I used for making my hero that is Serif draw plus. This software was being provided by school. Following the instructions of client brief I had to use vector tools to make design so, I found this software suitable for designing my hero. I only used primary elements as instructed by client brief. I did not use any element from secondary sources. To fulfill the requirement of the client brief I made the net that is single and fits on one sheet of A4 size. I used many different vector tools to design the net. I included instructions like fold and cut lines to make it easier for my target audience to assemble it. Purpose of doing this was to fulfill the needs of the client brief, which was put to put clear instructions like fold and cut lines. But in addition, to make it easier for my target audience I also put an image the assembled character so that they can see how it looks like when assembled.
I have learned from my feedback that the design of my hero is not quite fulfilling my target audience as my hero does not look that cartoonish. As we know that heroes should have some bright colours for his clothes which makes them heroic and powerfull however, in my game, the hero has nothing instead of chain on his arms which makes him look energetic and his face that make him look happy which is not enough to make my game more entertaining, according to the feedback I got. I also learned that the eyes were also made very simple. For my villain I learned that my villain's face is made very nicely as I made red mouth, big black and white eyes and huge eyebrows which make him look rude and voilent but his body should have some dark bright colours like red and orange to make him look more horrible and evil. In conclusion, I learned that my hero needs to have some more bright colours for his clothes. For my villain I learned that I need to make him look more evil by adding some dark colours on his clothes.
For my hero, I would suggest that I could improve by adding some heroic features on his body so that he could look more powerful and energetic. I could also add some more bright colors to make him look more smart and exciting to appeal my target audience. For my villain I would suggest that I could improve by adding some dark colors which will make him look more evil and bad moreover I could have designed his clothes more interesting by making his clothes look dirty and ripped.
Phone Wallpaper
My phone wallpaper design, although it matched very well with the theme of the game and had fulfilled most of the cida requirements, it looked very simple containing only a background, some texts and pictures of hero and villain fit into a page with resolution that was appropriate for an I Phone 5 screen which is what I had aimed to do. To design my phone wallpaper, I used a software called Serif Photo plus. As client brief says that we have to make the phone wallpaper to an appropriate size and resolution so, I researched for the resolution of the phone I wanted to make wallpaper for and I decided to make phone wallpaper for IPHONE5S so, I used the resolution of that phone i.e. 640x1136. I chose to design my wallpaper for the specific reason because most of my target audience would probably have this type of phone. I made my phone wallpaper by combining secondary and primary sources. While making my phone wallpaper, I used different background images but, finally I got an appealing image. This made my wallpaper look more attractive. I edited this image by decreasing the opacity to 50%. I also cropped that image using cutout studio. As instructed by exam board I had to use bitmap tools so, I found this software suitable for making my phonewallpaper as it is bitmap software. I also added the pictures of my 3D characters. In addition, I wrote name of the game to make my phone wallpaper nicer.
I learned from the feedback that the wallpaper I designed is very simple for my target audience as I have got only my 3d characters picture and one background picture only on it which is not enough for my phone wallpaper. The background of my phone wallpaper was very simple and which will not attract my audience. It does not have any text on it which would not be that helpful to promote my game.
For my phone wallpaper I would suggest that I could have composed some text to promote my game and could have made the background more fancy and attractive for my target audience. I would have made the frame more attractive as it was just simply black. However, my phone wallpaper was looking consistent to other products.
Trading cards
The hero, villain and other trading cards look very original and have met all the cida requirements. The thing that I like the most about the trading cards is that all the three trading cards have a consistent look in terms of the border, the font and the positioning of the objects in it. To design the trading cards for my game I used serif photo plus as this software is best for editing images and it makes the graphics look more real. I made three different trading cards one for my hero, one for my villain and a weapon card as my additional card. All my trading cards were double - sided and has measurements of 6.5cm wide and 9cm high. The purpose of doing this was to fulfill the needs of exam board. I used many different bitmap tools to make my trading cards. To make my cards look consistent I made the back of my cards and frame for all three cards exactly the same. Background colors of my trading cards were based on my character like I used black for the villain trading card, peach for the hero trading card and grey for the weapon card. As the client brief clearly says to use only primary sources so, I only used primary sources to make my trading cards. I added the pictures of my 3d character and included some relevant information about the character to fulfill the needs of exam board. The picture of the characters stand out with the background of the trading card and the text is also large and bold for people to be able to read it clearly. The back of the trading card also has a consistent design which is very important because any difference in design would mean I would have to redesign to make sure all the cards look the same from the back.
I have learned from my feedback that my cards were made very simple although they were consistent. My trading cards would be more attractive if I would have added more bright colors for background. I learned that I should have also written a small description about the character so my card looks informative. I also learned that that the back of the card was very simple as well.
I suggest that I could have used more bright colors for the background and could have made my cards fancier by putting the text in the box and by using different gradients to make my card look brighter. I suggest that instead of putting the strength, power, intelligence and speed I could have written the qualities of the character.
Trading card box
For my trading card box, I used Serif Draw plus. I used vector tools to make net for my trading card box. I have also shown scale and dimensions of the box. I used bitmap tools to add surface design using software called serif Photo plus and exported my product from photo plus to Draw plus. The reason of doing this as it was stated by client brief. I also added the images of my 3D characters which made my trading card box more interesting.

I have learned from my feedback that the back side of my trading card box was not that good as I only put the images of trading cards which was very simple for my target audience and the color for the side of the box was bit dull as my target audience is aged between 11 – 13 and they would like to have more bright colors for the trading card box.
I suggest that I could have done something else instead of just putting my trading card on the back of the box or I could have composed some interesting text to appeal my target audience. For the sides of my trading card box I would have used more bright colors to make it look more interesting and appealing.
Digital Poster
My final digital poster has the phone wallpaper, trading cards and texts which promote the game. This is good because it not only meets the requirement of the exam board, but it also tells my audience what the game is about and persuades them to buy it. I used serif web plus to make my digital poster. I used this software because digital poster is meant to be digital and should have some active or moving things on there. This is why I found this software suitable for making my digital poster. I only used primary element for designing my digital poster. To make my digital poster I have used graphic tools and stop frame animation which would give my digital poster a nice look. I made the stop frame animation on Serif draw plus. This animation was one of my moving things on the digital poster. As the client brief says that we have to include the name of game so, I made this animation for the name of the game which will keep on moving. I used the photo gallery function from the web plus to put the images of my trading cards. This was done to fulfill the needs of exam board. I also added the images of my assembled character to make my digital poster look more interesting and to persuade my target audience to buy it. I also included an image of my phone wallpaper which is free to download. I also included an image of trading card box which will help to promote my trading cards. To promote my products and to make my target audience buy this game I composed some promotional text.
From my feedback I learned that that the animation I made for the name of the game was moving very fast and I also learned that my digital poster was looking like it is targeted to adults as I used light colors and I did not had enough text to promote my products.
I suggest that I could have set the timing instead of using the default one and I would have some more bright colors and I could have made it fancier by adding different shapes. I also suggest that I could have composed some more text to promote my game and products.

...The Business Enterprise 1.) Discuss the common elements described in the theories/philosophies of Case, Kouzes, and Drucker including how their principles/strategies relate to the new definition of entrepreneurial leadership presented in Understanding Entrepreneurial Leadership in today’s Dynamic Markets. Case, Kouzes and Drucker each have good theories and philosophies on entrepreneurship and leadership. Each had different ways of stating what they thought made a good entrepreneur but for the most part focus on some of the same things and agreed that with the right balance of these characteristics then succeeding, as an entrepreneur would be possible. One of the common elements that each focused on was people. Interaction with people is important when it comes to entrepreneurship and leadership skills according to Case, Kouzes, and Drucker. Each inferred that if a person does not have people skills, then the person would not succeed as an entrepreneur or a leader. People skills would be the ability to motivate others and interact. A leader cannot lead without being able to interact with people. Starting a business requires interaction with people on some level. Another common element that they all thought were important was not being afraid to take risk. Taking a risk in order to monopolize an industry to succeed is important. The definition of entrepreneurial leadership is one of an enterprising, transformational leader who operates in a dynamic...

...Recording Transactions Keeping business records accurate and up to date is important for the smooth running of a business. The business owner must record all of the money coming into the business from successful sales of the product and all of the money going out, such as expenses including money owed for storage, wages that are paid and money to purchase the stock. If a business fails to do this it may find itself not chasing payments, forgetting to pay bills or, even in trouble with HM Revenue and Customs. If the business does not record its transactions correctly, it cannot report its financial performance accurately and therefore tax payments may be wrong. By recording the sales made, the business owner is given a clear indication of what’s popular and so it becomes clear what products should have increased stock or altered price. In your case, it is very important that you monitor your sales as a new business will most likely not make any profit straight away, so it’s vital to record your transactions so you are able to at least breakeven until more customers become aware of your business and you can start to make a profit. Furthermore, since you have negotiated a one month credit with a supplier, it is important to record your transactions so you know that you can repay the supplier after the month has passed and avoid any consequences. It would be beneficial to you if you could keep your credit supply as then you will have money coming in from your customers to then...

...The United States exists in a capitalistic economy meaning that private enterprise is based on fair competition, economic freedom, and private ownership therefore; business is the heartbeat of our economy. Everything from manufacturing, health care, sales, and agriculture involves business in some way. Businesses provide jobs and produce goods and services that we depend on every day (What Role Does Business Play in Our Economy..?). They pay state and federal taxes to the government on their services provided. The taxes paid by businesses and the people employed by them allow the government to function. Looking at businesses in this way you can clearly see that business is a pivotal part of the economy. Within our economy two types of business organizations exist: for-profit and nonprofit. A for-profit organization will produce goods or services in the hopes of making revenue off its products. Most organizations you think of today are probably a for-profit establishment. Organizations that are classified as not-for-profit or nonprofit often operate under the guise of the emotional appeal of compassion but can also become major economic engines. They are business like establishments but unlike a for-profit business, their primary goals do not include making monetary profits. For profit businesses operate to generate revenue under the idea to have more profit than loss at the end of the day. Unlike for- profit businesses, nonprofits are organizations that are classified...
