03/01/2018 at approximately 1654 hours, CSW Anderson arrived at the residence of 3507 Moss Hill Drive, Barnhart and met with two adult occupants later identified as: Adam THOMPSON & Tasha Steffens on their front lawn (12 years paramour; unmarried). CSW Anderson successfully advised Mr. Thompson and Mrs. Steffens the allegations against them where Mr. Thompson and Mrs. Steffens said their children are sick lately: strep throats and food poison. Mr. Thompson and Mrs. Steffens were cooperative and expressive at the time through the interview. CSW ANDERSON subsequently challenged both parents that is it possible where three children have the same medical symptoms, equal academic absences and three academic-consecutive years; Mrs. Steffens replied, “Yes they live in the same house …show more content…
Thompson and Mrs. Steffens able to grasp the incongruity that all children misses same amount of school days, sick at the same time, and go to meds appointment together concurrently in the last 2-3 academic years (information obtained from school staffs). It should be noted that upon arrival at the residence, Mr. Thompson and Mrs. Steffens advised CSW Anderson that all three children have an appointment at the urgent care Mr. Thompson said he made the appointments earlier in the day, and that they should need to get ready. CSW ANDERSON did not challenge the parents that urgent care should not need an appointment, but due to collaboration needed, CSW Anderson did not defy either parents.
CSW Anderson then directed Mrs. Steffens and Mr. Thompson that CSW Anderson must see the children to ensure their safety-CSW Anderson was invited into the residence. Upon entering the residence, CSW Anderson noticed three boys later identified as: Anthony THOMPSON, Timothy THOMPSON & Trenton THOMPSON. CSW Anderson did not know or was aware child number four until later in the interview; baby, Ezekiel THOMPSON. Mr. Thompson and Mrs. Steffens said the child is their youngest
