...Case Study Analysis Report ⦁ Introduction This report provides an analysis and evaluation of the problems associated in Carl Robins' case study. To my understanding the result from my report can be summarized easily with lack of communication and organization. Communication and organization are a must in most aspects of life, but are required skills in any career field. When we miss these areas many problems can arise. Issues that emerge due to the absence of information, coordination and organization, can be easily avoided. When you are planning your career or a big life event, following through with your plan and schedule are key for the success of any event, whether is life or job related. B. Background When organizing a "needed by date" recruitment event you should have the capability to believe that, in fact, you will recruit people, even if in reality you do not. It is of extreme importance to prioritize and organize yourself when a big event is in the plans. Also, putting together a team will help you delegate in areas where you feel comfortable letting someone else handle or in areas that you do not have much expertise. To me was crucial to get a real life opinion in regards to the subject. I decided to interview my sister Ivonne Valentin, former Human Resources recruiting supervisor for Home Goods Distribution Center in Bloomfield, CT. We talked about the steps to take in order to avoid issues when planning a recruitment event. She mentioned that...

These root causes stem from two sources, Carl Robins and ABC, Inc. Carl could have overstated his qualifications prior to hiring upon which a hiring decision was rendered or does he have poor work ethics and incompetent. ...Case Study Analysis by tko Comm215/ RP215ELE14 September 13, 2013 Instructor: RHONDA HERB 3 Procrastination is a problem we all go through, if Carl was more proactive with the new hires, I know he could have regained control of a bad situation. Carl Robins was given the task to have the new hires trained by July, his operations supervisor Monica Carrols checked in on Carl and asked him how the new hires are doing. Carl assured Monica that everything will be done on time, after Memorial Day Carl checked on how the new employees were doing and everything was a disaster. Carl Robins should have immediately started to think about other options. Persuasion and alternative thinking is the key to solving a problem like Carl’s. Carl Robins believed if he set everything up, and scheduled a list of things to do; the new hires would get it done. Carl failed to follow up, and failed to help the new hires complete the information needed for orientation. Keeping control of your time may help keep things on schedule (Pinola, 2013). Carl Robins needed to keep checking up on the new hires progress, this is the only way he could have made everything run smooth, since Carl put it off and depended on the new hires to do everything on their own, he failed. Carl other option is to ask Monica if he can extend the deadline, if not he could meet with all the new employees and come up with a solution to get everything done as soon as possible. Carl found...

It is a means of recruiting the best candidates for employment upon graduation. Also new to our staff, Carl Robins, a Recruiter of six months in the Personnel department, has demonstrated a great capacity for succeeding in his role. Moreover, to safeguard and promote the standards maintaining personnel hiring policies, our organizational workflows have been put in place to systematically or chronologically cluster-link processes with staff, resources, and state of the art technology to complete diverse tasks. After a close examination, indicators strongly suggest discontinuity in the process threatening adverse affects upon expected outcomes. In such an event, repercussions would be exhibited in a dominos effect throughout the company to greater or lesser degree; but the individual(s) responsible to oversee the campaign success, would be held to higher accountability. How vitally important, then, it is to observe with an eye towards turning the well established premise that preparing for complete failure can be traced back to failing to completely prepare—albeit, unintentionally. In his duties, Carl has the unique charge...
