Audience Analysis 2 In presenting any information to a mixed group of individuals it is important that you address all of the issues that will affect each group of people in the meeting. The presentation should be well thought out and possibly have gone through several drafts before completing a final presentation. It is also important to have someone proof read the presentation to ensure that it makes sense and provides pertinent information to the target audience. The presenter should also go through the presentation at least a couple of times to ensure that they are not just reading word for word the presentation. The presenter should also practice the presentation in the conference or meeting room where the presentation will be held. This will ensure that there are no malfunctions with the computer or speaker system that will be used. By completing these steps, will ensure the speaker a successful presentation and will allow the speaker to present their ideas to a range of individuals such as managers, sales people, and customers. When presenting sales information it is important to not overwhelm your audience with just numbers. By presenting just numbers will dull the audience and may not be relevant to the customers. If I were going to present quarterly sales figures to this audience I would first schedule the presentation on a Wednesday morning around ten in the morning. The reason why I would do this is because by presenting mid week I would have the full attention of my audience. If I had it scheduled for a Monday everyone would be tired from the weekend, and if the meeting was held on a Friday then the audience would be thinking about their plans for the weekend.
