Communication Opinion Paper
How does effective communication incorporate the basic elements of communication? Communication is very important in everything that you do in everyday life whether it’s for a job or in your day to day life. When having to write in a job setting you need to put into place what you are writing about as well as to how you are writing or talking to. You would not want to write or tell a group of 3rd graders how to their work the same way that you would tell a group of doctors. The five basic elements that you need to know for communication to any anyone is first who sending it (name plus for me it’s nice to know who that person is) then you have the message and with message you really do need to know who it is being sent to the receiver and when writing or tell you have to remember that so that it can be written or talk to were the receiver can understand it. From what I’m understand is that the medium is how you are communicating with people whether it’s written or verbal. The feedback is what the receiver/s are telling you the sender/s about the topic could be more input that may need to go out in more communication or it could be one on one. I feel like when this is followed it does work put well. You need to make sure you tone is good as well and that is where I can have problems with.
How do the basic elements of effective communication differ from the basic rules of health care communication? One of the biggest things that I can see with the difference is the HIPPA laws and making sure that you follow all the rules and laws when you are writing or talking about someone health, if you are sending a message out by email and you send it to more than one person you need to make sure that everyone can see the information that you are writing about.
