My population consists of Maribel and Yazmin. Although small, we possess both, similarities and differences when it comes to our attention and distractions. Yazmin, Maribel and I find comfort and enjoy watching Netflix and television during our breaks, because it allows our brains and bodies to feel relaxed for a certain amount of time. When watching Netflix or television, we sometimes lose track of time, and even end up not continuing what we were working on. We are also all easily distracted when it comes to performing certain tasks or working on assignments. Maribel and Yazmin find it hard at times to give their undivided attention to what they are working on, allowing their minds to wonder off, while I can sometimes, here and there, stop myself from being distracted and get back to what I was working on. The biggest difference in our population is when we are bored. Maribel and Yazmin, both, are unable to do nothing when they are bored. They are constantly trying to do something and have to move around. While when I am bored, I either find ways to occupy myself or I just accept it and remain lazy letting myself take a much needed break. Jump tasking rather than focusing on one specific task is something that I am consistently engaging in. Due to my job, I have learned how to multi-task and believe that I am pretty good at it. I am an insurance coordinator as well as the person who handles accidents, so I am juggling multiple emails, reports, and etc. I also have a new co-worker so the workload is doubled because aside from taking care of my responsibilities I am helping her and taking care of her responsibilities as well.
