My cousin wanted to go see one of his favorite bands called Cypress Hill. Also other bands known as Sublime and Pepper were to be attending the event. The location where it was exactly located is known as Stage AE or Stage American Eagle. Now I have been to many different concerts before but they were usually local bands in an indoor place with about 100-300 people. This one in particular was outdoor and over 5000 people. I went with my cousin, his friend and his girlfriend. Everybody except for me lived in Pittsburgh so they were more aware of what was to be expected than I was. I live about an hour away from Pittsburgh so it took us awhile to meet up with everyone as he came to pick me up. When we finally arrived in Pittsburgh, we were getting a hotel that night so we went there first. Once we checked in we waited for our friends to arrive. ...Feelings about the concert We have just finished attending our third concert in Fenway Center last Thursday. It’s an amazing concert, and all of us should give a performance in this concert. Since I came to America, I have attended three concerts, and I feel that this is the best concert I have attended. Comparing with those two concerts I have attended before, I have more feelings about this concert; and I want to share my feelings with you. ...My first experience at a classical concert took place on Friday, November 14, 2014 at The Perelman Theater. I got to see the quartet Quatuor Ebene. The hour and fifteen minute performance was very enjoyable. The Perelman Theater is a 650 seat recital hall. The room is designed to create an intimate feel with 3 levels of seating. The room has amazing acoustics. Chairs in the first level of seating are able to retract in order to create a deeper stage, complete fly-loft, and orchestra pit. I sat in the third level of the theater due to my tickets being college priced tickets. Although I was higher up I was still able to be very involved in the performance. ...attended the Season Finale of the Faculty Artist Concert Series, held in the Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center here at the University of Indianapolis. Lasting a little less than two hours, this particular concert took the audience on a tour through the eighteenth to twenty-first centuries of music, featuring artists all the way from the classical era to the modern jazz era. Because of the variety that was showcased in the music, this performance was definitely my favorite of the events I have watched thus far. A very unique part of this concert in particular was its performers. Unlike the other shows I have gone to on campus, this performance consisted of faculty players rather than students, most of which I recognized from simply walking through the halls of Christel DeHaan during my school weeks. ...Talent Show Review Singing has always been a passion of mine. Since the fourth grade I was a prestigious student in concert choir, taking part in many events throughout grade school. Last Thursday, I was honored to partake in the University of West Georgia’s first official talent show hosted by the Eccentrix organization. Eccentrix is a student-based organization that host’s events such as open mic and free verse nights dedicated to the students at West Georgia. The mission is to promote an environment that is open to any race, religion, or culture where the students are able to perform a variety of talents varying from singing, dancing, playing an instrument, or even a poem of choice. When I heard about the talent show, I didn’t hesitate to say yes and audition. The night of the show I was anxious and couldn’t have been more ready to perform. ...Driving to west from my address to Swallow Hill Music Center for 40 minutes one way at the evening was my first-time experience to the music concert in my life.
