We believe that physicianled organizations will serve the needs and interests of both patients and physicians toward achieving the best outcomes. In order to advance PRP in particular (and autologous cellular medicine therapies in general), we have developed these guidelines to assist physicians in performing safe therapies, promote patient education, encourage robust clinical research and begin to define the scope and anticipated effects of these procedures. Platelet Rich Plasma: Historical Perspective The application of PRP has been documented in many fields. First promoted by M. Video in an unmodified state is comprised of vast quantities of data (Apostopoulos & Wee, 2000). In order to make effective and efficient usage of video data, some method of reducing the quantity of data is necessary. The resulting strain, exacerbated by corrosion, drives the growth of initially microscopic cracks. To avoid catastrophe, aircraft are inspected periodically for cracks and corrosion. The inspection technology employed is ~90% naked-eye vision. We have developed and demonstrated robotic deployment of both remote enhanced 3D-stereoscopic video instrumentation for visual inspection and remote eddy current probes for instrumented inspection. This article describes the aircraft skin inspection application, how robotic deployment may alleviate human performance problems and workplace hazards during inspection, practical robotic deployment systems, their instrumentation packages, and our progress toward developing image enhancement and understanding techniques that could help aircraft inspectors to find cracks, corrosion, and other visually detectable damage. The usual approach to reducing PC energy wastage is to put computers to sleep when they are idle. However, the presence of the user makes this particularly challenging in a desktop computing environment. Users care about preserving long-running network connections (e.g., login sessions, IM presence, file sharing), background computation (e.g., syncing and automatic filing of new emails), and keeping their machine reachable even while it is idle. Putting a desktop PC to sleep is likely to cause disruption (e.g., broken connections), thereby having a negative impact on the user, who might then choose to disable the energy savings mechanism altogether.
