Delo
Deloitte & Touche began a movement that enhances their work environment and opened the door for a progressive movement across the globe. The measures that were taken by the company to ensure that opportunity was available to females employees initiates a much larger scale reform. Opportunity was measured along with advancement, education, communication, and leadership roles. The article, Deloitte & Touche (B): Changing the Workplace explains, “Deloitte was the first major accounting and consulting firm to focus on this issue, admitting it had a problem, addressing it openly, and pledging to share the results” [ (ROSABETH MOSS KANTER, 2003) ]. The company created a task force to improve these task. The task force faced several issues that they were not aware until the dialogue and the process began. The language that was used within the company is one of these aspects. The article states, “In year-end evaluation sessions, for example, people began to be aware of the different language that was used for women and men, a difference that had long gone unchallenged” [ (ROSABETH MOSS KANTER, 2003) ].
The task force continued to make changes and improved the workforce for woman over the years. These changes advanced the company and for many years allowed it to be recognized as the leading company for gender equality. The article explained “In March 1995, Deloitte won the Catalyst award as one of the best organizations in the country in the area of gender equality in the workplace” [ (ROSABETH MOSS KANTER, 2003) ]. As other companies have become educated with the practices to increase gender equality they become bigger competition for Deliotte & Touche. It is assumed that Deliotte & Touche will need to continue to advance woman in leadership position while at the same time changing perceptions globally and nationally to improve woman employment equality for all of its locations. The article states, “With respect to the Women’s Initiative, globalization presented particular challenges. Creating a supportive environment for the development of women had become a part of Deloitte’s culture in the United States, but it was part of the culture in many Deloitte offices around the world” [ (ROSABETH MOSS KANTER, 2003) ].

The MA mini case
The company has insinuated that they have acquired all ingredients from a natural supplier either by method of growing or mining. The orellana product was marketed as being grown by an Amazon tribe. MA Earth Skin Company marketed that they paid for this product from the Amazon tribe and aided in helping their community and culture thrive. MA Earth Skin Care Company did in fact pay for the product that was supplied along with supplying a school and medical clinics along with a lot of supplies. The issue that can be seen as unethical is that not all of the orellana product that is used by the MA Earth Skin Care Company is not all produced by the Amazon tribe. Some of the product is bought main stream. The reason for this is because the Amazon Tribe is not able to produce he quantity that is needed for the company. Although the company has invested in this tribe and aiding the people of the Amazon, the company is misleading the consumers through its marketing technique of omitting how the entire product is supplied.
