Tiger Lilly has always been very tall, when she was two years old, she was in the 90th percentile for her height, and she was about 31 inches tall. By the time she was 5 years old she had steadily increased growing and stayed around the 80th-90th percentile for her age in height. When Tiger Lilly was 5 years old she was about, 40 inches tall. She grew 9 inches in those two years, and because of her larger height when she was 3, she had to skip entry level pre-school and went to pre-school with the 4 year olds, because she was much taller than all the kids in her appropriate age group. When Tiger Lilly was little she was a very active baby. She learned to walk at a younger age and she became very active after that. By the age of 2-3 she could work the television and knew how to work Netflix to watch her television shows. Tiger Lilly also loved to throw balls and other things, and unlike most kids her age she threw them overhanded (though it did not travel very far). When I asked about any other motor skills that were abnormal for her age, Tiger Lilly used to love to run and get the mail off the table and to slide it under the door. Tiger Lilly also really enjoyed pedaling her little tricycle around the rooms in the house. When Tiger Lilly was an infant she averaged 8-9 hours of sleep per night. When she was around 3-4 she slept around 10 hours at night …show more content…
Tiger Lilly used brighter colors to represent things she was happy about, such as her family or her friends in pre-school. If she was sad she generally used a darker color, or no color at all, such as a pencil or straight pen. She often used random scribbles to represent different things, such as her father’s tattoos, or their family. Tiger Lilly often used small words such as fun or cool to describe things she liked. If there was something she did not like she generally called it icky. When I explained conservation to them, they told me that Tiger Lilly, at the age of 6, had a much easier time with it than she did when she was 5. They told me that she could easily recognize that you broke her cookie into two pieces instead of giving her two separate cookies. Compared to when Tiger Lilly was 3 years old, her memory at the age of 5 was much better. When you gave her a set of 6 random numbers and then distracted her she could easily recite them. They used lots of things to help Tiger Lilly understand conservation. They believed it was very beneficial to use physical objects to help represent how conservation worked. When I looked up a journal article, I found a group of scientists that were studying conservation. They did a study on 45 kids to determine if using physical objects would help kids learn math and conservation principles easier.

...Idioms and Expressions by David Holmes A method for learning and remembering idioms and expressions I wrote this model as a teaching device during the time I was working in Bangkok, Thailand, as a legal editor and language consultant, with one of the Big Four Legal and Tax companies, KPMG (during my afternoon job) after teaching at the university.
