The amount of trade conducted electronically has grown extraordinarily with widespread Internet usage. Web development is a broad term for the work involved in developing a web site for the Internet (World Wide Web) or an intranet (a private network). Uploading is the transmission of a file from one computer system to another, usually larger computer system. From a network user's point-of-view, to upload a file is to send it to another computer that is set up to receive it. People who share images with others on bulletin board services ( BBS ) upload files to the BBS. Transmission in the other direction is downloading -- from one, usually larger computer to another, usually smaller computer. From an Internet user's point-of-view, downloading is receiving a file from another computer.http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/0,,sid9_gci213255,00.html Dreamweaver workspace elements The Start page enables you to open a recent document or create a new document. I. Connor’s Document Analysis: This document is effective for a multitude of reasons, other than just being aesthetically pleasing to look at. A fraternity posted this advertisement in one of my classes last year, and it achieved its rhetorical purpose effectively. The fact that I remembered this document in the first place out of the hundreds of other greek-life advertisements speaks to its design. Immediately the eyes are drawn to the title “ Phi Chi Theta”. This is due to fact that the title is the biggest typeface...

Design informs even the simplest structure, whether of brick and steel or prose.
—E. B. White
In the context of web site design, information architecture describes the overall conceptual
models and general designs used to plan, structure, and assemble a site. Every web site has an
information architecture, but information architecture techniques are particularly important to
large, complex web sites, where the primary aims are to:
Organize the site content into taxonomies and hierarchies of information;
Communicate conceptual overviews and the overall site organization to the design team

Research and design the core site navigation concepts;
Set standards and specifications for the handling of HTML semantic markup, and the

Design and implement search optimization standards and strategies.
