In the first part of this paper we will provide a brief history of Stage Entertainment, single out two non-technological innovations and discuss how these innovations have affected the strategic behavious of Stage Entertainment. Stage Entertainment is the brainchild of the Dutch creative entrepreneur Joop van den Ende (born 1942). Stage Entertainment is the result of a merger of several other entertainment companies owned and run by Van den Ende and was incorporated in 1999.
