In his novel, Eric Schlosser discusses the fast food industry, including the process of making the food, from farm to the consumer. In one on the middle stages, specifically of producing the beef food items, workers in/from the slaughterhouse (previously mentioned as butchery) develop routines from continuously repeating tasks needed to become efficient.
