Ethical conduct of employees
All employees in this company must follow the following Codes of Conduct. * They should know the mission of the company and promote its progress by meeting the set standards and duly observing all our regulations. * Read well, comprehend and duly obey the organization’s procedures, both national and international. Where they do not understand the procedures, they should seek guidance from the relevant departments. * Offer their talents and total endeavors to the company’s jobs. They should dedicate their time towards ensuring that they deliver as per the expectations of their profession. Laziness will not be at all costs tolerated. * Share knowledge and acquaintance towards advantage of the company and its stakeholders so as to expand its target market. * Since our company serves clients with an adherence to ADA, EEOC and Civil rights, employees are expected to abide by these regulations. * They should meet the commitments of the company in a sincere and sensible manner at all times. * Share the mutual liability to the organization for the individual expansion and progress of the company. * They should take part in making an environment full of collaboration and teamwork in all aspects. * They should desist from judging others without basis and avoid discrimination during working irrespective of the difference in race, gender, age, religion and nationality. All employees in the workplace should be treated with the fairness and respect they deserve. * Constantly monitor and implement all the health and occupational safety standards and values. Where they find a fault in the standards, they should immediately notify the respective departments for relevant action to be taken. * At all times portray a good image of the organization and be a good role model to the rest of the world. * Volunteer to respond to any queries related to suspected misbehavior. They should also report any form of misbehavior conducted under their watch for proper action to be taken. * Identify and report to the relevant authority any issue that goes against legal or ethical business operations both nationally and internationally (Caroll, 2003).
Ethical code of conduct for vendors
With respect to vendors, our organization supports them and expects them to abide by the following Codes of Conduct; * Contractors and vendors are required to manifest their authenticity and legitimacy of the goods and services they offer. Failure to show above will lead to automatic disqualification from conducting any business with us. * Vendors must at all time exercise due care to avoid conflicts. * Bribes are at all costs forbidden, within and outside the organization. * Vendors should take note of the relevant laws and regulations in dealing with operations that touch on the public sector or any international laws and/or agreements. * A case-to-case basis will be employed in evaluating any reports on immoral or illegal acts by vendors. Any vendor found to have engaged in any immoral or illegal act will lead to automatic termination of their association with the company (Caroll, 2003).
Ethical conduct for board of directors
The Board of Directors (BOD) of this organization shall observe the following Codes of Conduct at all times. * Keep utmost competence and hard work in discharging their expert duties and responsibilities. They should ensure that they discharge the duties that are within their jurisdiction; otherwise they should seek essential help. * They should, at all times, stick to any stipulated constitutional acts, regulations or codes related to their field of specialization in addition to all criminal and social laws that were relevant in their authority. * They should hold, implement and encourage the human right values, self respect, fairness and admiration in pace of work, not only in the profession but also in the society at large. * Attempt to balance the employee and managerial requirements and concerns in the profession. * Keep all the confidential records and information obtained through performance of their responsibilities. They should not reveal any confidential information unless authorized by law or express permission that could bring about significant damage to the organization and its existence. * Keep away or timely reveal any possible conflict of interest which could lead to manipulation of the correct execution of actions or decisions. * Uphold the professional and individual progress in the HRM profession by engaging in activities that promote trustworthiness and improve the necessity of the line of work. * Collaborate with each of the member unions in the firm to build up and implement ethical practices and standards throughout the organization (Barth, 2003).
Ethical Code of Conduct for Business Operations
The ethical code of conduct to be observed in business operations include; * Antitrust compliance. The organization must comply with all the applicable regulations as a basic requirement of the firm. We must ensure that all of our activities are in compliance with the regional directives and laws, and with the policies of the organization. Conformity with such laws and directives is a responsibility of the Country Managers. Any inquiries relating to any specific activity to be undertaken by the organization should be directed to the Legal Department for further advice. * Anti corruption. Transparency and integrity in our operations is paramount. All transactions, therefore, should fulfill the anti-corruption regulations. At no point shall the organization engage in bribery operations no matter the situation. * Conflict of interest. All employees, board of directors and vendors should at all time keep away from deed that could develop into existence of a possible conflict of interest. * Gifts and services. The company does not acknowlge nor offers any courtesies of any kind that may compromise or negotiate prospect negotiations. It is not allows for one to seek a negotiation on any kind of gift, consideration or service. * Environmental responsibility. The organization is committed to execution of its business operations in a manner that is environmentally conscious and minimizes any environmental insinuation resulting from our operations. * Confidentiality of information. The organization must always administer and handle data in a protected and lawful manner, free from any access from anyone other than those who have been authorized by the relevant authority to access the data. * Financial controls and records. Our organization aims to develop concrete integrity and unwavering believe from all its stakeholders. We accept our responsibility to fully communicate with all the stakeholders and provide truthful and full information concerning the economic position of the organization and outcome of its vast operations. Workers, therefore, should always ensure that the financial controls of the company are unquestionable and in line with our obligations and responsibilities. We should also ensure that the company’s accounts submitted to the security controllers and other public communications are unquestionable, equitable, timely, understandable and in full. * Asset preservation. For the fulfillment of this organization’s laid down mission, assets should be correctly used and preserved. * Workplace health and safety. Stopping accident occurrences and ensuring that safety in the workplace is safeguarded is a major concern in the organization. The firm is committed to bringing out its undertakings in a manner that the safety and wellbeing of all the workers in site and those affected by its activities is guaranteed. * Political contributions. Our firm values the rights of its entire workforce to take part in activities outside the business such as government provided the activities are lawful and do not deter the employees from discharging their stipulated responsibilities and obligations or in any manner engage with the organization (Altug, 2010).
