Hello ladies and gentlemen, I am John Wilkes Booth. I was born May 10, 1838. My mother is Mary Ann Holmes. My father is Junius Brutus Booth. Father and my eldest brother Edwin are actors. My father died when I was 14 years of age. Being the second youngest out of all 11 siblings; with 6 brothers and 5 sisters. Acting has a large impact on my life and my family, I starred in Richard 111 in Baltimore. Also I performed in The Marble Heart. My father, Junius and my eldest brother Edwin were actors before me. At the age of 17, is when I starred in Richard 111. I am a staunch supporter of slavery and the confederacy during the Civil War. During the Civil War, I was a Confederate secret agent.
