one has a role model. It could be a famous singer, or dancer, even someone in a book. Well I think Quarta in the story, “The Girl who was Born with only Two Arms and Two Legs,” by Stuart Baum, is a great role model. Quarta was born with only two arms and two legs. Other kids were born with eight so she was teased and treated differently. A couple reasons why she is a great role model is because she is mature, she persevered, and she was kind. I think Quarta is a great role model.
For example, one reason that Quarta is a great role model is because she is very mature. Being mature is a very important trait to have. Being mature means to be on topic and not let things not get to you. Quarta is bullied a lot throughout the story and she struggled a little, but pushed it behind her and kept going, Quarta was mature enough to not let things get to her and…show more content… One example, is that Quarta let everyone join her game, one ball. I can’t believe she did this after all some of the things people did to her, she let it go, and was kind to them. That would take a big person. She also was never, ever rude to the people who were mean to her. The story says, “ Quarta’s parents were watching from the stands. They saw how well Quarta ran the league. They also saw how she treated the other students, even the ones who used to tease her and call her a freak for having only two arms and two legs.” A final reason why she is kind is because she saved Kako. Kako was a big trouble maker. He got stuck in a tidal pool, on the field trip. She was probably teased a little bit by Kako and he was also a big trouble maker, but she wasn’t going to let anyone get hurt. This was the right thing to do to go and save Kako, and she did so. Quarta was kind to be people even if they weren’t nice to her and she let it all go and gave them a fresh start, that is what being kind is all about. Everyone should be
