To achieve that objective, Dubai Police Force (DPF) was chosen as subject for this study. DPF where people from different cultural backgrounds, ages, years of experience, genders, educational level and many other characteristics interact. This interaction makes both of communication and motivation deviate from an employee to another. DPF has a sensitive and critical function in the society and country, thus its performance reflected by its employee’s has to be measured. Many believe that an employee’s performance or output depends greatly on his job satisfaction. To serve the objective mentioned above, feedbacks from employees working in DPF were obtained through a questionnaire then analyzed. The questionnaire targeted employees from different departments to measure the motivation and communication level in each department. Then relate those levels to the job satisfaction level in that department. An employees’ overall satisfaction with their job is the result of a combination of factors like financial compensation and motivation are a few factors. This essay will discuss if money does affect motivation and make our jobs more enjoyable. Research of meta-analysis conducted by Tim Judge and colleagues of Journal of Vocational Behavior included 150,000 participants of ages 25 to 45 from different countries. This research was done in summer of 2013. The result indicated that the association between salary and job satisfaction is very weak. The reported connection indicated that there is less than 24 percent overlap between pay and job satisfaction levels. Furthermore, the connection between pay and pay satisfaction was only marginally higher, indicated that people satisfaction with their salary is mostly independent of the actual salary. A cross-cultural companion revealed that the relationship of pay with both job and pay satisfaction is pretty much the same everywhere for example, there is no significant difference between the US, India, Australia, Britain, and Taiwan. In this research, we study the scope of undergraduate students who run their own business. The main aspects that will be examined is how they run their business, what motivates them to do so, how they cope with balance of studies and business through interviewing. This study draws its concepts and findings primarily from interviews with 7 purposive respondents who are currently self-employed full time students. Based on the results of the study, the family background is quite influential to who you are. According to our findings, there are 10 elements: communication skill, time management skill, marketing skill, persuading skill, creative and innovative, teamwork, reputation, self-disciplined, passionate in attitude and actions, and honesty.
