From the opening crawl, we learn that Finn, Poe, and BB-8 are on the planet Lothal (from Star Wars: Rebels) meeting with an unknown arms dealer in an effort to gather supplies for the rebellion. After searching for some time, the trio is unsuccessful until they ask a bartender who points them to a bounty hunter known for working with the arms dealer; the bounty hunter states that the man they are searching for is named Caelum Binardown (Benicio Del Toro) and offers to show them where he is…for a fee.
Finn, Poe, and BB-8 arrive at Binardown’s base of operations and are shocked when the bounty hunter is shot for revealing Binardown’s location to random people. However, when Finn reveals that he and Poe are representatives of the Rebel Alliance, Binardown becomes much kinder and offers to show them to the supplies he is willing to give them. However, Finn and Poe are mistrustful after seeing Binardown murder a man.
