FOOTWEAR CASE
In the Muslim world, insulting through god is one of the biggest crimes ever. When we look at the case, we can face the situation that the things go bad for Carlson and his company. It is obvious that Carlson’s advocate would not be counted by Muslims and those declarations by Carlson can increase the effect of his bad situation on him. As I understood from the case, the timing of revealing of the crime is suspicious. It could be conspiracy for Carlson and his company by Jewish. Well, if I were Carlson my action plan would begin by accepting this mistake and promise that all of the responsible people will be fired as a consequence of this mistake and fire all of the workers in the department of development and marketing to prove my faith through respect of Muslims. Firing people from company would create worker need for my company so in the process of selecting employee I would prefer to give a job people who are Muslims with high sensitivity through Islam. Also I would try to declare how I feel sorry for the big mistake at everywhere that I would be. In the second step, I would try to reach every people who owned sandals and collect sandals back from owned people. In return of this demand I would give opportunity them to buy new sandals from Footwear store then in a time, there would be no any sandals that have the letter of Allah and this would make things easier to forget. Also I would create new sandals to be sold and donate the earnings that I get from those sandals into Muslim unions to gain sympathy of Muslims as a part of my second step. My last step would be establishing one footwear store with the nickname including Islamic motifs in the one of the biggest Muslim countries to support gross domestic product of that country with keeping the secret of being my store. All of three steps of my action plan are aimed to show how I care about Muslims
