Chapter 1: Was The Hippie Movement scene the same as in reality?
One of the best scenes in the movie is the moment that Forrest visits The hippie Movement. The hippies are standing in front of the Washington Monument, next to the water. A lot of them have signboards with texts like “Stop the war!”, “Bring our soldiers home!” and “Stop the bombing!”.
