What affects technology have had on our lives?
Technology is a major part of both our professional and personal life whether if It’s at work, school, or home. According to Gebski’s article, he argues that “Technology is now so integrated with our lives that going without it can cause severe anxiety for some and It’s not hard to see why Technology has taken over” (2015). I completely agree with Gebski, because we depend so much on technology that going a day without it is impossible. According to Ramey’s “Businesses have used technology to gain a competitive advantage over their competitors” (2013). However, the use of technology by many businesses and educational institution is becoming very expensive. Thus, small business is left behind because they cannot afford the demand for technology use and upgrades big business is providing to consumers. As a result, theses small business is not gaining as much customer as the big business are. In addition, “It is important for them to bridge the “technology divide” and for us to help get them there” (Asset AmeriCorps Blog, 2011). I do believe that something needs to be done about this because small business is important to us and our economy as much as the big business
