In addition to Gotham’s return, we will be seeing several character’s develop their succession onto their iconic roles. He will be making alliances, new friends, such as Barbara Kean. DC Entertainment teases us with a glimpse into what to expect in Season 3. What I love about this series is the complexes created in between the villains. Often, in traditional version of Batman, we would see the caped crusader take on his villains one on one, at times, maybe two, but this is a unique insight into understanding villains. We are made to feel compassion and sorrow for these obviously “bad” characters. Narratives are trying to take on this view of grayness. There is no black and white anymore, and each villain can come from something. In panel Toronto Comic Con’s panel, David Mazouz, who portrays the young Bruce speaks on this: “Bruce is tempted by the dark side again and again and again. It’s not going to stop.
