Spoons

Deck
A standard 52-card deck.
To play the Spoons version, you also need one spoon for each player except one. EXAMPLE: With 8 players, you need 7 spoons. For Pig and Tongue, no extra equipment is needed.

Goal
To be the first to collect four cards of the same rank. If an opponent beats you to that goal, to not be the last to realize it.
Setup
For each player in the game, you need four cards of the same rank from the deck. For example, with 5 players you could use the Aces, 2s, 3s, 4s and 5s.
Shuffle the cards and deal them to the players. Each player will have four cards.
If you're playing Spoons, put the spoons in the middle of the table so that every player can reach them.
Gameplay
Players simultaneously choose one card from their hands, pass that card to the opponent on their left, and pick up the card they've received from the opponent on their right. Each player can never have more than four cards in his hand, so it's illegal for a player to pick up a new card before passing one to the left.
When a player collects four of a kind, he does one of the following actions, depending on which version of the game is being played: * Spoons: As subtly as possible, take a spoon and place it in front of yourself. * Pig: Quietly place a finger on the tip of your nose.
Tongue: Quietly, but visibly, stick out your tongue.
When one player does this, every other player must do likewise as quickly as possible. The last player to grab a spoon, touch his nose, or stick out his tongue is the loser.
Scoring
The last player to grab a spoon, touch his nose, or stick out his tongue is the loser and is eliminated from the game. Remove a set of four cards from the deck and play another round.

Deck
With 2 to 6 players, use one standard 52-card deck. With 7 players, the players decide whether to use one or two decks. (One deck is a shorter game; two decks is a longer game.) With 8 to 12 players, use two standard 52-card decks.
Goal
To be the first player who gets rid of all his cards.
Setup
Choose a dealer randomly. The dealer shuffles the cards and gives each player seven cards. The rest of the deck is placed face down in the middle of the table to form a draw pile.
Gameplay
The player to the left of the dealer goes first. He may play any card in his hand. Play proceeds clockwise.
Each subsequent player must play a card that follows suit or is of the same rank. EXAMPLE: Alexandra leads with the 7 of diamonds. Benjamin must play a diamond or a 7. If a player can't follow suit or rank, he must draw from the draw pile until he can. If the draw pile is empty and a player can't play a card, he skips the trick.
Once each player has played a card, the highest card of the suit led wins each trick.
When two decks are used, if cards of identical rank are played to the same trick (e.g. both 10s of clubs), the one played first outranks the other.
The winner of the trick leads the next trick.
Winning
The first player to get rid of all his cards wins the game.
For a multi-hand game, use the following scoring method. The winner of the hand score points equal to the total of the cards remaining in the other players' hands. Aces are worth 1, face cards are worth 10, and the other cards are worth face value. Play continues until one player scores 200 or more points. That player is the winner.

WACKY DUCK – Everyone sits in a circle. One person in the center is blindfolded and spun around a few times. Those that are sitting down get up and switch places to fool the person in the middle. The person in the middle must now feel their way around with a wooden spoon or a rolled up newspaper, find a person and sit on their lap. Once on the persons lap, the person that is being sat on must now identify himself by saying “QUACK-QUACK” with a weird voice. The person sitting on his lap must now guess whose lap he/she is sitting on. If they get it right, they switch places and the other person must go into the middle. If the sitter gets it wrong, he or she must search for another lap, and guess again. Make this fun and fool a friend at some point, everyone leave the area while the person is being spun around and watch from a distance as the friend start searching!
