Hard Rock Café’s Global Strategy
Identify the strategy changes that have taken place at Hard Rock Café since its founding in 1971.
Since the Hard Rock Café was established in 1971, it has constantly redesigned itself to convey the brand where it is presently, by adjusting to the times and changing when change is requested. The organization embraced numerous changes including stores, redesigning it's menu, moving to places that are not really tourist destinations, and best of all, including live music and rock shows into the general customers experience. The Hard Rock put in millions to make a visual and acoustic situation ideal for their visitors. The company also brought into their "experience" to concept their own merchandise, which is one of a kind in every area and it gives an immense income to the organization. Hard Rock is known for its extensive and museum-worthy memorabilia and products. Today, its memorabilia collection is evaluated to be worth $40 Million. Every restaurant rotates their items to keep the experience new. Their merchandise records at 48% of its sales.

As Hard Rock Café has changed its strategy, how has its responses to some of the 10 decisions of OM changed?
The strategy of Hard Rock was to change from local to international with upgrades to their Manu for each restaurant destinations. They also started with one location then they expanded too many tourist locations, however, 70% of the Café's clients are visitors. A decrease in tourism has an unfriendly impact on its business, but this cleared a path for an open door for Hard Rock to grow, a non-standard tourist destinations to help drive more income when tourist destinations down. The Hard Rock Café keeps up an exceptional format in their store, receptive to local taste. With the lighting, sounds, and music among others, are likewise essential contemplations in its design choices. Making sure that none of the cafes are alike, this makes its experience different and unique. The Café highly prides them self for having strong training system for all its enlisted employees. Their motto is to motivate, and support their employees so that it will not be hard for employees to want to work hard for the company. A Hard Rock employee has to likewise fit to Hard Rock's core qualities which are passion for music and service.

Regal Marine strengths is the ability to maintain being a family owned business with competitive advantages through unique features and high valued innovations. Their Weakness and threats come from the competition with low cost on but home theaters, the Internet, and all kinds of alternative family entertainment.
How would you define Regal’s strategy?
Regal’s Strategy is to provide high quality, innovative boats at a low cost that meets all the customer needs from a small watercraft to large yachts.
How would each of the 10 operations management decisions apply to operations decision making at Regal Marine?
The operation management would have to start off with the Goods and services: Regal provides high quality beats that satisfy all customers’ needs so keeping in contact with their customer and develop new and improved boats every year.
Managing quality: They utilized defect charts and inspections; they also developed and closed relationship with their supplier to ensure they have good parts and service.
Locations: Being located in Orland FL, they should focus on being the number 1 manufactures that provides services to customers. Inventory, MRP, JIT: Regal implements the just-in-time supply process. Everything is developed in-house with the exception the engine. Supply-chain management: Regal Marine partners with suppliers to ensure both high quality parts are available and flexibility. Human resources and job design: Being located in Florida, Regal Marine should benefit from a community with many skills in boat building and repair.
