I had a really good friend of mine review my resume. I thought my resume was an alright resume. Yes I did know that it may have needed a little bit more information, but for a beginning resume it was a good start, so I thought. My friend scored my resume at a C+. She says it’s not the greatest but it’s not the worst. It was an average resume. She said I needed to not use first person as a language. Which I understand that. That is a common mistake of mine that I tend to do often, even though I do try to prevent it. My resume also needed a more powerful story on why I would be a value to the company. Improvement was needed in my resume. But the criticism that she had gave me was good criticism. She was telling me that to wow the company some things that I would need to change. The length of my resume needed to be allot longer. My resume needed to be more than four hundred words she said. I also need to add more skills and talents to my resume. Although my resume is in the 65th percentile. Now that I know ways that I can fix and change my resume. I will definitely have a new and improved resume. It will be longer, I will add more skills and trades, and also maybe some certificates that I achieved on the way. I for sure will have a more powerful story so that the company will automatically know that with me on their business team that it would be very valuable. I will also make sure that my grammar and punctuation is spot on. I don’t want one that is seeming rude, and un-ethical because my grammar is off. I really enjoyed having someone being able to give me feedback on my resume. That will really help me out allot for the next time I have to do a
