...controls the regulation that I am choosing for my proposal is the Office of The Post-Secondary Department of Education. In regards to Student Loans. This agency and my proposed regulation affect me because I have taken out loans for my education and haven’t been able to pay them because of economic hardship. 2. The proposal is to form a negotiation rule making committee to create a proposal of regulations governing the student loans authorized under the Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA). The committee will involve agencies and students that are affected by the matters proposed for negotiations. For example: students, financial aid administrators, legal assistance organizations that represent students, office of the Bursar at post-secondary schools, etc. will be the targeted representatives for negotiation committee. 3. I am Zudaydah Rivera. I am currently a student at Keller Graduate School of Management. I had to take out a second loan to pay for my education. The first loan I took out was for my BA in Criminal Justice while attending Kean University. I am currently in deferment for the loan I had for Kean University. Ever since I obtained my BA in 2006, I haven’t been able to find a career. I have been working for temp agencies off and on to make ends meet. The fact that I am a college educated person in need of a career means nothing to the employers I am trying to target. It is hard to pay my loan back if I don’t have a career. I have two children, rent...

At Telefund, I have met countless individuals who I have built close relationships with. ...end of the day I have began in the second week of starting out on placement developing the initiative. When first starting placement I was job shadowing. I offered to help by cleaning the classroom through disinfecting the desk, worktables, chairs, and ipads. After disinfecting the ipads I would place them into the office and plugged in ready for the next day. I have started this routine of cleaning and offering assistance whenever I was available in that moment. This indicates how valuable initiative is a good and important skill to have and develop. It helps me to build on my self-confidence, spot opportunities and potential improvement. This also provides the staff on how much of a good worker and student I am. Not only after school but during school time asking questions and observing everything that is going on around me. Absorbing...

...I believe that I should be accepted into the National Junior Honor Society. I help contribute ideas to help the school and community. I am always willing to volunteer and provide service for my parents, teachers, or the elderly. Whenever I have free time I study or help my younger brother with his homework and afterschool activities. I am also honest, trustworthy, and a leader. Below are some of the strengths and requirements I have to be in NJHS. Leadership I am very good at help younger students. In choir we are separated into different groups. Without anyone telling me to I take charge of the people in my group. We did different activities so I assigned different parts and we usually win challenges. In band I am one of the older drummers so I have to work with the younger beginner drummers. In band the instructor is usually more focussed on working with the main instruments like the saxophones and the clarinets so percussion is at the bottom. I feel it is my responsibility to help them learn new notes on the bells or different rudiments on the drum....

...President. Good morning delegates my name is Dion Anderson, and I am a junior at Westlake High school. I believe that I am that type of person and I am ready to step into the position, to serve as your CCASC President. Gandhi once said “be the change you wish to see in world”. I started to be that change at a very young age, by baking cookies for the elderly to restoring parks for my community. I had the great opportunity to be a part of a life changing experience called HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership) which built and shaped me to be the great leader I am today, I don’t think I would be up here giving this speech if I hadn’t gone to HOBY. I have been a part of SGA since 8th grade and fell in love with it ever since. I got an award for doing more than the president that year. Now I would like to share with you why I want to take on the position of CCASC president. I am dedicated, passionate, and persistent to the point where I get things done. I have a strong will, and I always follow through on my promises. I’m a natural leader, and I’m extremely good at fundraising. We have had several fundraising events at Westlake high school that I took part in that were a success. I have many fresh, new ideas that I will bring to CCASC. As president, I will communicate regularly with all of the high school and middle school student government, by sending out emails and or phone call to all of them weekly to check to see what they are doing in the school and to let them know that I will do...

...SGA Student Body President’s Speech Hello, my name is Christopher outten. First off I would like to start by saying thank you for taking time out of your day to listen to a few words from me. As you already know I am running for student body president for the 2014-2015 school years. You all might be wondering why I’m doing this (pause) well I’ll tell you. The main reason I want to be the student body president is to serve the students at middle creek high school and better their High School experience, I have always been a people pleaser and I have always strive to make everyone happy. I know that’s not possible to do but I am going to get as close to perfect as I can. For people who do not know me all that well, I would like to give you a little back ground about me. Middle creek to me is like a 2nd home, I’m actually here more than my own home. For the longest time I have dreamed about going here and I wouldn’t go anywhere else, because I love the school and the people in it. I’m honored to be a part of this school and make a difference. I have been in SGA for two years, my first year I was the sophomore class president, then this year my junior year, I am the student body vice president. I am on the football team. ...our class activities. Sometimes it seems as if when I am put in the position to do improvisation I tend to be thinking what to do next. What will my next move be, and how should I integrate it into the scene? When I do this I am not taking from the situation. The only way I can give a good performance is if I take what the other person is giving me. If I am aware of what the other person in the skit is doing together we can put on a good performance. However if I am just giving what I think needs to be put into the performance to make it what it is, then the performance with now run smoothly. It is like listening to someone who has a problem and would like you to give them some advice. You as the listener can not give good substantional advice if you truly do not listen to the scenario. You as the listener need to take in the whole conversation, not just bits and pieces. Taken in only part of the problem could result in terrible advice. On the other hand if you truly take in all that is given to you, your advice will be of concrete substance. Now this does not mean it will all work out, but it does mean that puzzle pieces will at least fit together. Give and take I found a great deal in my everyday life. I will say I have one of the personalities that I love to do for others, but would prefer to do things on my own and not take help from anyone. It is not that I do not think they can do it right, it is just I do not like to inconvenience other people. With this...

I have had experience in other areas of work during the last year including working in a local busy restaurant (presently) In these jobs I have enjoyed a role of responsibility which in my opinion exceeds my years. ...Personal statement Firstly, I am terribly sorry for this matter to have taken up your time. This is Lin shiyue, and my student number is 4463432. I had received the information that I have an academic misconduct in MGMT316 final examination on 14th November. At the end, the exam team tells me that I had communicated with other student during the MGMT316 exam. However, I do not agree. I am pretty sure I did not speak any words during the whole exam. I do not know what does the exam supervisor see. And I think that I need to fill your in what happened and state the whole accident thus and so. When I finished the exam, I prepared to hand in my paper, and then I back in the seat to look around, my goal is to find the teacher to hand in the exam paper. And I had eye contact with supervisor as I intended to submit my exam paper, and I am sure this supervisor had seen me. However at the same time, I realized just have ten minutes left. So I turn back. Later, when I backed the seat again and waiting for hand in paper, the supervisor come and taken my student ID. I am depressed when I received this information, and I questioned why she said I had communicated with other student. Thus I want to provide some supporting information to evaluate I am telling the truth. At first, obviously, space between table and table is narrow, when I back in the seat; my back is extremely close to the table behind me. Second, when I had eye contact with supervisor, she stand...

...Baylee Milam 523069 Many people say that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. Although my life has been very comfortable I have faced hatred, anger, and hostility many places I’ve been. I have and been faced with this and I still continue to see the best in the people who portray the anger or hostility. In many places that I have worked other employees have bad work ethics and bad behavior but yet I still continue to think the best of them. So although I have not faced much adversity, my attitude toward people is the adversity I have had to overcome. Seeing the best in people has been both my demise and best feature. I take the hostility and the hatred from people and am still able to see the good in them. I am the...

...Emisha U Rodriguez Liberty University September 11, 2014 Case Study 1 Administrator: Let me first begin by saying Good Morning and welcome. It is my understanding there has been a disagreement regarding the approach that should be used to target the needs of our student base. I am here to provide an opportunity to discuss this matter and come to a resolution. The goal is for us to determine a plan of action that will be effective in the success of students. Mr. Vet would you like to go first? Mrs. Vet: Prior to purchasing the current textbook a considerable amount of time and energy was placed to assure the correct curriculum was chosen. The textbooks and additional resources are available to service the need of our student base. We carefully made this decision with the input of veteran faculty. The district has spent a large amount of finical resources on the current textbooks which would be a waste if we decided to make changes. I feel we have purchased quality material that is producing results. Administrator: Mrs. New you have may have the floor now. Mrs. New: In my experience this year the materials that we are using do not meet the needs of our student body. Based the demographics of the population indicate that the achievement of the students should be in the 90 percentile or above. I feel we are causing a disservice to our student body if we accept 73 percentile of achievement when they can perform far beyond that score. The text should be stimulating...

...a teacher, I believe that best education is that education which develops the personality of the student mentally and physically. Teachers should understand that students are here to learn. Thus, in general, education should be the transfer of knowledge, skills and information from educators to students where the students will be able to stand on their own foot. My students are my main priority and I am aware that each of them has different level of thinking. Whenever I teach, I consider myself to be in the place of the students and as such, am able to know if am making myself enough explicit since the final aim for the teacher is to communicate new information to students. However, since I believe that every child is unique and some need special attention, I make sure that I spot these children so that they do not lack behind. Furthermore, as a teacher, it’s a self satisfaction that is able to help students to understand themselves by targeting their areas in which they are at. For example, a student may be good at structured questions while another one may be good at calculus questions. Moreover, a teacher must act as a guide and at the same time as a role model and should allow students to share their. As far as possible, students should be encouraged and congratulated for their efforts as this build a sense of confidence within them. To attain all these qualities, I should practice professionalism such as showing good leadership skills for my students. As an...
