...job is multifascited as the exec director, I manage the JMJ centers, 2 centers and mobile centers that go around on an RV. Coordinates everything, helps out in centers, go into the community. What JMJ is, what we do, promote that in the community to help secure volunterrs, fundin,g, promote awareness. Do a lot of strategic planning on how we're gonna grow. Trying to figure out what addicitonal programs we can offer. And then go out and do the speaking and build awareness. Various churches, youth ministries, and drink beer too. Whatever we need to do, oh I'll do it. I'm also an event planner. It's wonderful. Up until july, I was an engineer. Doing it for 11 years. Involved in JMJ, I loved everything about it, I was just busy. I had 3 little kids and work and all kinds of stuff going on. Not as involved as wanted to be. In April, our previous exec director wanted to retire. Looked at husband and said wanted to do this. Very fufilling. Transition into role. Completely new to me. So much fun and so awesome to be able to effect people's lives everyday. See the joy and gratefullness. Beautiful experence. Do you like your job? What do you like about it? I think the biggest thing is to be able to affect people in a positive way. As an enginner, I got to talk to oeopel and develop code, it was kind of boring and wasn't fulfilling. It was comfortable, I appreciated being paid very well. That was the hesitation. Once I made the jump, I realized that to be able to interact with people...

...been the type to own up to them right off the bat. I find it awkward and sometimes too far off, raising a problem when ignoring it was all you probably needed. The thing is I still think about it. You’re not a idiot; it’s pretty obvious. I think you’re amazing and that won’t change no matter what this manages to morph itself into. And in my opinion, it doesn’t need to. But I think about the song, I think about the poems, I think about the unfinished story rotting because I’ve lost what motivated me to complete it. A story is a what-could-have-been right? When we daydream about our futures, daydream about bravery and acceptance and victory, it’s just a fantasy story of our lives. Sometimes I just have to write it down to make sure I don’t lose it. Don’t forget it. Understand that once upon a time, I was such and such. People say in the future, they’ll look back and laugh. I won’t laugh; I’ll understand. Perhaps not why, why you, why this time, why so silent and why so demanding but I’ll understand the circumstances. I’ll understand what drove me and what tore it apart. My entire life’s story out there for everyone to see. Sometimes I feel so exposed. It’s weaving together assumptions that are sometimes so out there, right in the open. But that’s okay, because even things I write a month ago, I no longer understand. I don’t know whom I was so pissed off at and what made me write a passage on loneliness. I don’t need to. It’s all in the moment. &...

...I am 47 years old and I live in Texarkana, Texas. I moved to Texarkana about twelve years ago to get away from the craziness in Houston, Texas. So, I decided to move to the country where I now live with my boyfriend, two, toypoodles, a ferret and my boyfriends parents. We all live in the country on 5 ½ acres. Our home is 2 homes in one which are both separated, the parents live on one side and we live on the other. Once you have been use to living the city life and move to the country it can be quite an adjustment because there is not much to do in Texarkana, Tx compared to Houston. For instance, simple things for me like driving to town seem like such a chore. Since moving to the country instead of going shopping for dinner no more then a mile from home I now have to drive over fifteen miles to town. Sometimes i feel like I have wasted my entire day. The up side of living in the country is that it is quite peaceful and you do not have your neighbor in your back yard. I have four children 2 girls and 2 boys. My girls are Diana my oldest 29 who has two children My grandchildren Makelia 7 and Baby Juan 4. My daughter Mary is 28 and she has 3 boys Vince 8, Louie, 3, and Baby Luke who is 1 ½ . Then, my boys are Brigido 26 (he is my trouble child) who gave me my 2 beautiful grandchildren Isaiah 8, and Destiney who is 4. My baby is Cameron he is 22 years old and in college in Austin, Tx. ...my cats Long time ago, a people raised a cat and a dog as his pet. And the cat and the dog were very good friends. They ate together, lived together, and play together. They almost stayed together all of the day. One day, the master lost his ancestral gem and he was very sad. Then the cat and the dog decided to find the gem. On the road, they met a mountain, the dog said” Cat brother, climb on my back!” Then they met a river. The cat couldn’t swim. The dog said” Don’t worry. I can help you. Climb on my back.” Finally, they found the gem. But when they returned to home, the cat told their master” it’s me who find the gem, and the dog did nothing.” When the dog wanted to explain it, the master didn’t give dog a chance. He gave the cat a delicious fish, and kicked the dog out of the door. The dog and the cat weren’t friend since then. That’s why dogs bite cats as soon as they meet, and dogs always pursue while cats always escape. And another reason is that dogs and cats have very different language. When the dog meets the cat, the dog always wags tail, because they think it is a friendly way. But cats often think it is provocation. But nowadays dogs and cats aren’t always enemy any more. Sometimes, they can stay together peacefully. Maybe you could say the dog is a better pet. But I don’t know why, I just like cats very much. I always become crazy when I meet a cat. They are really cute. When they want something, they fawn on you and follow you all around. And cats can be very...

...I haven’t got a job yet, therefore the problem that I have chosen will be a personal one. So, the problem that I am having is about a cat. Every day, as soon as I step outside, a cat comes rubbing itself on my legs and it gets pretty annoying after a while. The cat doesn’t have an owner, she’s a stray cat or to put it simply, the neighborhood cat. I don’t like the cat and I think it should go away, but it seems like I’m the only one who feels that way. My brother and a little girl that lives across the street play around with it, feed it and like the cat being around the neighborhood. When they feed and play around with the cat, the cat gets more attached and stays around. That’s where the problem comes in. I want the cat to go away but they feed it and make it stay around. So to analyze the problem deeper and get in more detail I have chosen the root cause analysis method. Root Cause Analysis Defining the problem • What do I see happening?...

Then it was like a shine ray directed toward the object, it revealed Pluto. It was really Pluto then I saw Pluto’s red eyes shine. I became scared and ran away from it. Pluto walked closer towards me. The cat looks so scary with the red eyes and blood non-stop flowed out from the cat’s eyes. Did Pluto cries? But why the tears turned to blood? ------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------- How far you could run in just a square room cell? Wherever I ran, Pluto still walked towards me and it getting closer. I gave up when I felt tired and stood still at the corner of the room. The cold wind blew in made me shivered in fright. Pluto walked closer towards me and rubbed his body at my legs. I thought Pluto wanted to claim what I did towards him. I felt touched with his actions. Pluto still knew his master and did his job to accompany me when I felt like being alone. Indeed I am alone without anyone in the room. How could I be cruel to him? Although I had killed him but he is still kind toward me? Picture 2 ------------------------------------------------- Then I thought of something. I had killed Pluto then how could Pluto appear in front of me? This is so confusing. Then I saw a white hair area at his body, it was the cat in my new housing area last time....

...measuring out the knowledge of the child on the subject, and guiding them to conclusions with facts and questions. The majority of the questions that could be asked, like “What do you see here?” and “How can you tell?” will have already been covered in the exposition of the images, so all that remains is reinforcement of the knowledge and patience for an opportunity in the future to expose them to it again.
Part 3: How would Plato explain the concept of a cat using Forms?
Plato would surely begin, especially with a younger mind foreign to his philosophies, by explaining the concept of a Form. He would take a nearby object, say a stone in the street, and hold it to the child. I imagine the Dialogue would proceed as follows.

...Cat in the rain analysis Cat in the rain by Ernest Hemmingway is build up by the iceberg theory. The iceberg theory means primary that he writes indirectly and between the lines, so the reader has to think a lot about the story. Hemmingway really like to use symbols to hide what he means. The story takes place at a fancy Italian hotel. The hotel room faces the sea and a garden with a very desired war monument, which Italians come far away to see. The hotel has good service for example when the woman goes out for the cat and then the hotelkeeper takes care of the woman by sending the maid out with an umbrella for her. “…. an umbrella opened behind her. It was the maid who looked after their room. You must not get wet” (S. 1). In the whole story it is raining a lot “It was raining a lot. The rain dripped from the palm trees” (S. 1). It’s a symbol of their relationship. It is very important that the woman doesn´t get wet. “Do not get wet, he said.” - “You must not get wet” (S. 1). Rain is a main factor for facility, and when the woman doesn’t get wet, it means that the relationship is under a conflict. George said don’t get wet to the woman. It symbolizes that he doesn´t want to do something. Maybe he is satisfied with how relationship goes on. Another symbol is the cat. The cat symbolizes a baby. She wants to protect the cat, like it was her own baby. “The cat was trying to make herself so compact that she would not be dripped on.” (S.1). Again it relates to their relationship...

...Many homes around the world have at least one cat living inside as a pet; in fact many homes have a few cats dwelling in them. People raise these animals for many reasons. Some want them for their companionship. Cats are soft, sweet, and lovable. People like playing with them when they are kittens and once they are older and calm love just snuggling with them. The reason these people keep cats is mainly for enjoyment. However, many other people keep cats to control the mouse or insect population in their house or on their farms. These cats usually do not come into much contact with their owners. Most just stay outside or in the barn where the mice are. But the question is where did cats originally come from, who first domesticated them, and who are their first ancestors? I think that all cats from the giant lions of Africa to the small house cat all came from the same ancestor. I will address and hopefully answer these questions and try to shed some light on the subject. I read many websites dealing with this issue. One was from the Feline Advisory Bureau and another was written by H. Ellen Whiteley. Both are considered experts on this subject. Ironically both art Also found in this area was another animal that many consider the species that the genus Felis descended from. This animal was called the miacis (4), a cat like meat eater whose fossils have been found in areas of North America, Europe, and Asia. These fossils were all found in the Eocene age, anywhere from the...

...Cat in the Rain by Ernest Hemingway | Summary The short story "Cat in the Rain" was written by Ernest Hemingway in the 1920´s. It is about an American couple that spends their holidays in an Italian hotel. It is a rainy day and the American woman sees a cat in the rain, which she wants to protect from the raindrops. When she goes out of the hotel, which is kept by an old Italian who really seems to do everything to please that woman, and wants to get the cat, it is gone. After returning to the hotel room, she starts a conversation with her husband George, who is reading all the time, telling him how much she wants to have a cat and other things, for instance her own silver to eat with. Her husband seems to be annoyed by that and not interested at all. At the end of the story there is a knock on the door and the maid stands there holding a cat for the American woman in her hands.Peculiarities of the introduction The first thing that caught my eyes was the long description at the beginning. First there is a description of the environment in good weather, which means spring or summer, then a description of the momentary situation in the rain. This description creates an atmosphere that is sad, cold and unfriendly. To create this atmosphere Hemingway uses words such as "empty" or "the motorcars were gone". Later on, by looking at the relationship of the two Americans, you can see that this description was a foreshadowing of the state of the couple´s relationship: First it was...

...more complex. He had a high degree of detail in description of places/things and his typically themes in his stories were love, war, loss, wildness etc.. Cat in the rain Writtin by Hemingway and publised in 1925. An American couple is on vacation in Italy. The American wife sees a cat outside in the rain and she wants it very bardly, so she goes out to get it but the cat is gone. She goes back to her hotel room and starts a conversation with her husband. She tells him the things she wants but her husband doesnt seem to be interested at all. But in the end, the padrone comes with a cat to her. There is a very long description of the enviroment (typical Hemingway style). ”In the good weather there was always an artist with his easel. Artists liked the way the palms grew and the bright colors of the hotels facing the gardens and the sea.” First of all, he descripes the enviroment like it’s summer but then he writes that it’s raining. It’s sympolizes their relationship. First it was great and they were happy but then it all turned to grey, rain and very cold. The American wife sees a cat outside in the rain in the beginning of the story. The cat sympolizes her need to be responsible for something and her loneliness. She sees the cat as a baby who needs to be taking care of. But her reaction when she sees the cat is a little bit childish. She uses the word ”kitty” which is something a child would say instead...

...A cat that is a part of my life. I still cannot forget him. This farewell was too hard for me to take. Would it be strange if I was trying to describe my misery over a cat? I would never be depressed over a farewell with a random cat. He was part of my life. Tangerine orange smooth fur, running around the house like a horse surprised by something and gone crazy. Short legs, bright and huge eyes, normal-sized ears. 1 year old Munchkin came to my house about 6-7 months ago. He reminds me of the cat in the story “Puss in Boots”. I gave my cat the name, Dong. Why? Because I wanted him to be a part of me. He was too cute for me to just breed him like a normal cat. I spent my time with him from the moment when the sun showed its face above the mountains to when it finished its job and the moon started brightening up the busy city. Tokyo was probably the best place for a house-cat to stay. Healthy food, comfortable houses, and family to be loved… I am not the kind of person that would do only that kind of things to my cat. I treated him like a human. I slept with him, I ate three meals with him, and took a shower together. He was like my younger brother. I loved him more than anything in the world. Every morning, I find him laying besides my body and purring loudly, rubbing his face...
