This study was done to identify how to meet the needs of students who live in

smaller communities and who also live in more rural areas. Telephone interviews

were conducted with administrators in rural areas. It implied that students’ should

be addressed on an as needed basis. “Factors related to rural school

administrators’ satisfaction with distance education” is a scholarly and peer

reviewed article.
