ISYS100 Assignment 1: Report

1) The Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) styles which I chose was very simple, user friendly and most importantly aesthetically pleasing. Whoever visits the website would be able to easily read the text with no struggle due to the text being a solid black colour which is brought out due to the clean light blue background. The webpages are as user friendly as possible as I made sure the appropriate colours for different headings was chosen, for example heading 2 is a bright yellow to make it really stand out to the viewers. The Times New Roman font was used to ensure that all visitors to the webpages could read all text with ease. I chose very straightforward images to be shown on each of the webpages so that visitors know straight away what each webpage is about. I also ensure that all images and text were sourced correctly.

2) My website would be even more user friendly if I created a live chat option where visitors could send a direct message through to an assistant who could then tell the visitor more about the webpage they are currently on (cars, motorbikes or airplanes). If my technological abilities were limitless, I would ensure that the webpage is more interactive and more aesthetically pleasing in terms of a dynamic or moving background. Another feature that I would implement is a search bar, where visitors could easily search for anything they would specifically want to know. I would also make sure that Google is the search engine for the visitors’ requests. The most important feature that I would add is that I would incorporate Google maps to ensure users would be able to find out the exact locations of where they could buy certain cars, motorbikes and airplanes or even the location of different museums to do with them. Another key feature that I would add is the ability to provide a hotline whereby users can call 24 hours
