Everyone has a favorite singer or maybe a favorite genre of music that they may listen to or be interested in. The many genres of music are R&B, classical, jazz, and also pop music. My favorite singer is named Jazmine Marie Sullivan. Jazmine Sullivan is a African-American R&B singer/songwriter. She liked to do a mixture of many kinds of music such as R&B, reggae, and pop. She has a total of 3 wonderful and overpowering albums titled as Fearless, Love Me Back and also Reality Show, all of these albums were nominated for awards. Her voice is so powerful and strong to bring you down to your knees that’s why she is my favorite singer.
First of all, Jazmine Sullivan was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania she was born on April 9, 1987. She started singing and writing when she was 15, and she always sung in groups with many different people. As Jazmine Sullivan started focusing more into her music career she met music producers Missy Elliot and Salaam Remi. Her first hit single “Need U Bad” hit the charts in 2008 as number 1. Her second hit single Bust Yo Windows hit the pop charts as number 1 as well. Later that year Jazmine Sullivan released her first album titled “Fearless” on September 23, 2008.
