She and her three other sisters lived with her parents in St.Louis, Chicago. She was actually discovered there at a local charity fashion show at age 13. She then started a full-time modeling carrier. At some point, she even worked for Victoria Secrets. She started working at Victoria Secrets in 2011 and became a Victoria Secrets angel in 2013. Eventually, Kloss did quit with her other modeling friend, Doutzen Kroes. There was a rumor that Victoria Secrets had lowered their pay and raised their time commitment. But Kloss was ready for a new chapter in her life. After leaving Victoria Secrets, Kloss started working towards attending New York University, otherwise known as NWU. Last summer, Kloss launched her own two-week summer coding camp for teenage girls aged 13 to 18 in New York, Los Angeles and her hometown of St. Louis. She named it Coding with Klossy. Kloss helped pick the candidates, as well as select the teachers, and design the curriculum. The graduates to the camp have gone on to win hackathons and land places at Ivy League universities.
