AUTODESK 101

The following are instructions as well as pictures of the screens that you will see while going through the sign up process and downloading process in Autodesk.

First you will have to go to www.autodesk.com

When you get to the website, you will need to click on the “Free Software for Students”

You will then be direct to the following webpage where you will then click on to “Join the Education Community Now”.

From there you will be directed to the “Sign Up” page where you will need to fill this information in completely. On this page you will be entering in your “Student” email address. If you do not use your student email address you will not be able to download any software for Autodesk.

After filling out all of the information, you need to click on the “Submit” button at the bottom of the screen.

Do not try to refresh the page, Autodesk is generating an email to send to you for confirmation.

From this point you will need to log into your student email account to retrieve the confirmation email sent to you by Autodesk.

At this point you will see the confirmation email that was sent to you from Autodesk. If you are unable to click on the confirmation link, you will need to copy and paste the link into your web browser. When you click or copy the link, you will be directed back to Autodesk and will see the following screen;

Here you will see your “Registration Successful” welcome screen. From here you will click on the “Get Software” words towards the upper left corner and you will be redirected to the “Download Center”.

Once in the “Download Center” you can find the software that you are looking to download. Once you find what you are looking for, click on
