...There are many illegal things happening in the working industry in San Diego. People aren’t getting the right amount of income. Employees are forced to give part of their tips to the bosses. Some bosses believe that tips will count as part of an employee's income. Except, that is very illegal. 100%. When the two students came into our classroom and informed us about all the injustices that are happening in the working world, I felt disgusted. I am glad that I was able to learn these things in case stuff like this happens to me in my jobs. They cleared up a lot of things like the rules of income and related issues. It was overall awesome. Something that stood out to me was that in one of my other classes, Rhetoric Writing Studies 200 (RWS 200),...

...Route to L’Oreal The title of a talk I attended is ‘Route to L’Oreal’ which was held on 6th June 20 at the auditorium of INTI College Subang Jaya. There were about 100 people who participated as art of the audience. A lady walked on the stage at 2pm and introduced herself as the spokesperson of L’Oreal, hence the talk began. There are a few things I like about this talk such as that it started punctually so that the event flowed according to schedule and no time was wasted. Our spokesperson, Miss Sharifah Atikah, a representative of L’Oreal, introduced herself clearly and spoke in a friendly manner. She encouraged the audience to move towards the front seats of the auditorium for the allowance of a two-way interaction throughout the talk. She allowed the listeners to ask questions or comment on the things she shared. She also gave out ‘goodie packs’ with well-known products of L’Oreal’s in it for good questions and if participants were able to answer her questions. She had natural charisma, a good manner of engaging the audience and retaining the attention of her listeners. She introduced the company’s achievements and history as the introduction. The PowerPoint slides were done neatly; the message and important points were highlighted and therefore, successfully conveyed. A point that caught my attention was when Miss Sharifah spoke about their products which were responsibly innovated, are of high quality and that they were environmental friendly. I was also caught on to...

...04/04/13 Pepsi vs. Coca Cola Debate Julian/aidan Opening statement: Your honor, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, my partner Julian and I are here today, but only one reason to reassure that Pepsi is better than Coca Cola. Pepsi is the better beverage because it consumes less sodium rather than Coca Cola does. Thank you Reason 1. The first reason why Pepsi is the better beverage is because of its low sodium recipe. Of course, the first thing many people think of when they here pop is how unhealthy and unbeneficial it is to the human body. So knowing that Coca Cola has 20% more sodium than it does in Pepsi, should reassure you that next time you crack open a can of Pepsi think of how unhealthy it is to drink Coca Cola. You could do a lot worse. * Given facts from the computer, for the many of you who have has the displacing experience of Coca Cola will be able to tell you that Pepsi has a mush sweeter taste, but still the same amount of sugar. This is what Julian and I call “BARGAIN FOR YOUR BUCK.” You see, after you consumed Pepsi, your Craving for sugar has been decreased, some times the sugar tolerance is different in your body systems. On the other hand, Evan Marshall, also referred as GOCH, made a gross profit of 16.827 B so why is that they are only donating two million to World Wild life Fund over the next 5 years? I can assume that you all have recently seen Evan with a soft drink in one hand and sugar filled candy in the other, but he’s not to blame, Coca Cola is! This...

...For thousands of years, people have dreamt about flying. Many have tried, but it wasn't until the days of the Wright brothers at Kitty Hawk that Man was able to take flight. For the past hundred years, airplanes have been made safer and easier to use, although the events of 9/11 have recently made the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) a tad more suspicious. We are at a point now where human flight is open to just about everyone, even the likes of flyboys Tom Cruise and John Travolta. Accordingly, it's become painless for someone to get their private pilot's license. By getting yours, you'll be able to take joy rides with your friends and family, take part in volunteer search and rescue missions, fly yourself to business meetings, and become an acrobat of the sky. Everyone who wants to be a pilot needs to pass a medical exam in the early stages of the process. Blind people with narcolepsy don't usually make good pilots. More on this topic later. ...themselves and other travelers. Then there is the Over Cautious Driver, who is just as easy to spot as the Erratic Driver. They are normally going under the speed limit or close to it, this type of driver will slow up traffic, and in highly congested areas, they can be a hazard on the road from hesitating and not flowing well with the traffic. Finally, there is the Alert Driver, this type of driving style consists of paying attention to the surroundings, such as weather, potholes, and other traffic. The Erratic Driver: Has a tendency of pissing off other drivers, with their erratic and unpredictable actions. They can be 100 yards behind you one second, and the next second they're so close that you can't read their license plate. They seem to always be in a hurry, whether they actually are in a hurry or not doesn't matter, the erratic driver is not a safe driver. Here's a tip from a recovering lead foot, you can't control other drivers, so pull your foot off the pedal, you can only affect your share of the road. The Over Cautious Driver: This type of driver also has the tendency to frustrate other drivers, especially the erratic driver. ... many of which have been connected to various artifacts that have been found on Pacific islands. Two seem to have the greatest credibility. One is that the plane that Earhart and Noonan were flying was ditched or crashed, and the two died at sea. Several aviation and navigation experts support this theory, concluding that the outcome of the last part of the flight came down to "poor planning, worse execution." Meaning they did not plan thing as they should have. Investigations concluded that the aircraft was not fully fueled, and couldn't have made it to Howland Island even if conditions were ideal. The fact that there were so many issues, creating difficulties lead investigators to decide that the plane simply ran out of fuel some 35 to 100 miles off the coast of Howland Island. In conclusion Amelia Earhart was never found, that's why she is one of the greatest explorers in history, and she should always be remembered. Rest in peace, Amelia Earhart, wherever you...

...comes to the unseen world or the subtle world, we perceive it through the five subtle senses, the subtle mind and the subtle intellect - more popularly known as our sixth sense. When the sixth sense is developed or activated, it helps us to experience the subtle world or subtle dimension. This experience of the subtle world is also known as a ‘spiritual experience’. | | In the above picture, we see a lady who smells a bunch of roses. This would constitute an experience as there is a definite source to the fragrance of roses i.e. the bunch of roses. In the other picture, we see a lady sipping her morning coffee, pondering over the start of her working day. All of a sudden and with no apparent cause, she gets a strong fragrance of sandalwood. She initially dismisses it; as she cannot see where it is coming from and goes on to drink her coffee. However, the fragrance follows her to her work place and lingers with her throughout the morning. She asks other people if they can smell the fragrance, but no one does. ...MR. ZAHID RAFI, the General Manager of MUHAMMAD RAFI GARMENT INDUSTRIES (PVT) LTD, Lahore Pakistan was trying to implement a management information system. He was facing resistance from Mr. Kashif, his most senior Supervisor. MR. ZAHID RAFI wondered what he could do to overcome this resistance. Company Background Westward Exports was an exporter of ladies cotton garments. It was a private company established in 1971. It was a family run business and all four directors were brothers. Over the past fourteen years the exports of the company had grown from Rs. 0.71 million in 1972-73 to Rs. 59.76 million in 1984. Almost 90% of the exports went to USA. It owned no manufacturing facility of any kind. It purchased cotton cloth from six different textile mills and had the cloth dyed and printed. This fabric was then passed on to 138 stitching subcontractors. The company had been expanding the product line over the years and by 1983 it was exporting about one million garments in over one hundred basic designs. The 100 designs were presented in a large of fabric types, shades, designs and sizes. They appreciated the problem and decided...
