Executive Summary
As the economic climate continues to show signs of improvement, companies are experiencing rising demand for their products and services. However, many businesses are still cautious about hiring. Companies are turning to temporary workers to fill the gap. The decision at hand is do I hire Temps or Permanent employees. The purpose of this proposal is to decide on whether my company should hire temporary employees versus hiring permanent fulltime employees. This paper will look at the objectives, alternatives, consequences and will also include the implementation monitoring and control of the solution.
Decision Problem Overview As the economic climate continues to show signs of improvement, companies are experiencing rising demand for their products and services. However, many businesses are still cautious about hiring. Companies are turning to temporary workers to fill the gap. The decision at hand is do I hire Temps or Permanent employees. There has been a 30% increase in business at Anixter and the company is currently in need of more help. There have been constraints added to the decision on whether to hire full time employees or temporary employees.

Objective Statement When an employer makes the decision to hire a new employee, they must first decide what advantages this employee will offer the company. The employee may be considered a producer, who would benefit the company by producing, creating, selling or supporting the product. This employee would be responsible for direct profits for the company. These employees are responsible for the productivity of producers by coordinating their tasks with those of other producers to gain the most cost effective solution. A new employee may also offer your company the assistant qualities needed to free up the time of a higher paid

These men are not just known for their record wins, but for their unique leadership. They each had a unique way of leading their teams. Coach Knight was Indiana University’s head basketball coach and became a legend there. Coach K. was the head coach at Duke University since 1980. A fact of interest, both of these two men knew each other in an earlier time.
