“Life and Time of Michael Giacchino” Michael Giacchino was born October 10th, 1967 in Riverside Township, New Jersey, and was raised in nearby Edgewater Park. Giacchino ventured into music at a young and spend most of his time between the cinema and the basement of his home. At the age of nine Giacchino had an eye for filming and animation he started doing projects with filming. He also created stop motion animations on his brother’s pool table and he mostly enjoyed putting music to the pictures.
Michael went to study at the School of Visual Arts in New York where he received a major in film production and a minor in history he also around the same time took an unpaid internship at the Universal of Pictures also did worked in a publicity…show more content… Giacchino got started by working at Disney and his work had a great effected on lots of people in the film industry. Seeing that the produces can gave a chance for somebody to become a composers, Giacchino got the idea that if he became a produce he could eventually become a composer. So he started producing and composing for Disney Interactive. In the year of 1997 renewed DreamWorks Interactive asked for him to score their video game adaptation of The Lost World: Jurassic Park. The Lost World: Jurassic Park was the first PlayStation game to have a live orchestral and the producer (Steven Spielberg) asked when Michael's demo music would be recorded lived. He continued to write video games soundtracks and became best known for Medal of Honor score. The year of 2001 he got an email from J.J Abrams who was working on production on alias complimenting Michael on his music and asking if he would like to work in the TV business. Michael took the job and worked on every one of Abrams projects like Lost, Super 8, Star Trek, and Star Trek into Darkness, and Mission: Impossible iii. “Giacchino tell “J.J.
