Musician Seal blasted Oprah Winfrey after the Cecil B. Demille recipient gave a powerful and though-provoking speech at the Golden Globe Awards that was hugely referenced to the sexual harassment happening in Hollywood. Seal took to social media and tagged the media mogul as being part of the problem for many decades.
In an Instagram post, the musician uploaded photos showing Winfrey with the man who has been at the front and center of these sexual misconduct controversies, Harvey Weinstein. One of the photos show Winfrey kissing the disgraced producer’s cheek. Seal wrote in his post saying when you’ve been part of the problem for decades and suddenly people think you are the solution.
He also accused Winfrey of being aware of what Weinstein was doing to women. He also sarcastically added that you heard the rumors but didn’t know if he was actually assaulting these actresses and these women had no idea what they were actually getting into, my bad.
