Embedded within the hopes and dreams of every child reside seeds of greatness. As a child grows into an adult, many factors affect whether an individual settles for nothing less than unequivocal success or becomes entangled in a downward spiral toward abject failure. Despite environmental factors, socioeconomic influences or injustice, these factors—as well as dozens of others that enter life’s equation—lead to a positive or negative end-result. And that endresult is powered by attitude. Attitude determines the boundaries of altitude. Will you ascribe to limitless altitude? It depends on your attitude. Is your glass half full or half empty? Are you convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that the sun is shining despite the appearance of clouds, rain, and wind pummeling your day from sunrise to sunset? Attitude shapes every fiber of your being. It affects creativity, the ability to think outside of the box, the ability to be an innovator. Attitude influences your ability to make a difference in your family, neighborhood, city, the world. It affects what you believe is possible to achieve, the lifestyle you believe is attainable. Attitude impacts whether or not you believe you are a leader or a follower.

Attitude affects whether or not you inspire your children to aspire to greatness and whether you instill in them confidence—or the lack thereof—that will either positively or negatively affect a child’s perceived ability to succeed. needed to move past failure and move on to accomplish greatness. Attitude will determine how others respond to your opinions, your first impression, your trustworthiness. It can be the differentiating factor between whether a hiring manager offers a position to you or the other candidate when all other factors are equal. Your ability to embrace all of the simplicity and elegance that still exists in the world is affected by attitude. Attitude influences how you react when the guaranteed challenges of life manifest themselves in what appears to be insurmountable roadblocks toward your destiny. How will you navigate your journey? Life is filled with opportunity and misfortune, happiness and despair, satisfaction and frustration, successes and challenges, hopes, dreams, purpose and indifference. Attitude determines how you will approach all of the good, bad and mediocre energy you will undoubtedly encounter in life, and what you will do to shape those elements into new beginnings working in your favor. Few people achieve incredible greatness who have not totally committed to the relentless pursuit of their dreams and passions. How deep is your commitment and how far you will go
