Abortions have been a very popular topic of discussion over the past few years. There are many different viewpoints and arguments on this topic. 1,003,487 abortions have been performed thus far into the year. Out of every four women, at least one of the women will have one abortion by the age of forty-five (Guttmacher Institute). Statistics like these need to be put to an end. These “statistics” are living, these “statistics” are being murdered, and these “statistics” are having the chance of life ripped away from them. Abortions are cruel and wrong, and they need to be illegal.
I stand strongly against abortion and I don’t believe anything can justify it. Several take advantage of the court case Roe v. Wade to prove that abortion is technically constitutional, without looking further into the current case situation. The most common reasons for getting abortions were women not being ready enough, not financially prepared, or they just don’t want the child.
