I walked into my writing 121 class with high hopes, nonetheless the image I replayed in my mind for the class turned out to be dramatically different than what I thought. The course outcomes were fairly simple to me, nearly a little too simple. I love a challenge when I am writing but, honestly I love how this course was set up. First, I would like to start with my favorite project of the year; the CSW presentation. I found this particular assignment the most helpful for the reflection interaction portion of the course outcomes. This specific assignment was very helpful in practicing that concept due to it being exactly what it say’s “interaction portion”. I shared my work with my university community loving every bit of the experience. When …show more content…
This specific paper introduced me to a wide range of research opportunities that could make or break a paper. What I loved most about this piece is that I did not have to only choose one option for it, I was able to choose maybe two research styles or more. For my finished research paper I did use at least two to three research styles. I actually did all three types of research for my paper observation, survey and interview. I found observation to be the most useful due to actually gaining more reviews rather than maybe my ten or twelve interviwee’s. Throughout this assignment process I choose to do all three just to witness which one could give me a better start furthermore, more information for my paper as a whole. I did find this helpful for the reason of me now using one if not all of these options the next time I may do a similar paper and it also makes the paper a little easier informational wise. I really worked hard on this individual assignment by trying to create a unbiased survey that covered the most important questions, also I tried to ask the most important questions during my interviews all while making sure I selected the right people, and lastly I made it a priority to observe as much important details I …show more content…
Honestly, I did learn a number of things from this class that I will now carry with me for future achievements. I feel as if all of the work I did do may not have been great but everything was definitely fairly good. I put my all into my writing and if something brought my grade down it was either grammar, or maybe a missing task that I did encounter into my paper. Like I explained earlier my participation could’ve been better, I feel like it was more so pulled out of me than me offering it. Aa a student I feel like I preformed exceptional overall. I conducted myself very well, and maintained everything
