...IMPLEMENTATION OF SYSTEM The Opinion analysis system consists of seven phases. In the implementation part each phases is defined in detail with regards to the required input, its working and output. The phases are as follows 4.1 OPINION DATA In this phase the Opinion form was provided to the students of the institute. It consists of various guidelines about the institute so it will help in filling the form quickly. The guidelines provided to the student were regarding college entities about which they have to give Opinion.. The student provided the Opinion and that Opinion is taken as an input to the system. The Opinion forms look like. Fig: 4.1 Opinion form Opinion from students was collected. Example: • Placement is very good. • Reading...

...decisions quickly. Unfortunately, there are some errors that can come because of that (Btrax, 2010). In this area Japan have a higher belief that everyone in society is not equal and depend on people in higher positions to handle their problems and to make important decisions compared to the USA for example; there are numerous influences that may make the Japanese less likely to express their opinion and more likely to be shy. Firstly, the Japanese language is hierarchical. As a result of using it, individual Japanese become relatively more conscious of their inferior social status as they are growing up surrounded by people superior in status (because they are older). The Japanese culture makes them more aware of their inferior social status, further more they may be less likely to express their opinion for the same reason an American might not express their opinion around their boss. Specifically, individuals usually only express an opinion when they are less likely to feel they are inferior in status. For that reason Americans use a language that does not accord status, they feel more egalitarian as they are growing up. As a result, they have more confidence in their opinions because they feel more equal with those...

...Crosstabulation & Chi Square Robert S Michael Chi-square as an Index of Association After examining the distribution of each of the variables, the researcher’s next task is to look for relationships among two or more of the variables. Some of the tools that may be used include correlation and regression, or derivatives such as the t-test, analysis of variance, and contingency table (crosstabulation) analysis. The type of analysis chosen depends on the research design, characteristics of the variables, shape of the distributions, level of measurement, and whether the assumptions required for a particular statistical test are met. A crosstabulation is a joint frequency distribution of cases based on two or more categorical variables. Displaying a distribution of cases by their values on two or more variables is known as contingency table analysis and is one of the more commonly used analytic methods in the social sciences. The joint frequency distribution can be analyzed with the chi2 square statistic ( χ ) to determine whether the variables are statistically independent or if they are associated. If a dependency between variables does exist, then other indicators of association, such as Cramer’s V, gamma, Sommer’s d, and so forth, can be used to describe the degree which the values of one variable predict or vary with those of the other variable. More advanced techniques such as log-linear models and multinomial regression can be used to clarify the relationships contained...

...Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome are two very important parts when it comes to architecture in mostly Washington D.C. Just Imagine the Lincoln Memorial, the White House, or the Jefferson Memorial without its columns, it would not look that fantastic or official as it is right now. Those wonderful columns are all thanks to the builders and inventors in the classical period who also helped by creating other possessions like transportation or the form of Government we have. An example of the architecture from ancient times in the Georgia that we still have today is columns. My sister’s sorority house has, I think, ionic column, which I believe that it means that the building is very important to the students and teachers (OI). There are three types of columns, doric, ionic, and corinthian, in my opinion corinthian columns look the best. Today, people use columns for houses and mostly buildings that have a special authority like the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. (Doc. 1). The Lincoln Memorial has Doric Columns, the Jefferson Memorial has Ionic Columns, and the Supreme Court has Corinthian Columns. At the end, without the Grecian people nothing would look that official or important....

There was some gaps in the sentences and students filled the gaps by connection words. After assembly, Miss B explained about the pattern of adding by 10. for example, 7- 17 – 27- 37-47-57-67-77 and she asked all students some questions related to that. after that she explained how to subtracting numbers. T O 5 8 3 1 (8 – 1 = 7) (50 – 30 =20 ) (20 +7 = 27 ) 7.3.1 L.O. I can use expanded column subtraction....

...Ambler Columbia Southern University Public Administration Ethics 22 January 2016 Abstract When in the workplace there are a few things that people try not to discuss and religion or spirituality is one of those. It is often a touchy subject because of differing beliefs and opinions. Does spirituality help or hinder productivity in the workplace? Will someone that is spiritual be a better leader than someone who is not? I will explore two articles Spirituality and Public Service and In the Study of Leadership, Spirituality Is the Unexpected Elephant in the Room. I will show how the authors relate spirituality to leadership. They tend to sway to the opinion that spirituality is needed in the workplace and is effective in leadership. I will tell my opinion on the subject and how I feel spirituality relates to leadership in public administration. Spirituality and Public Administration When discussing great leadership traits, a lot of people do not use the word spiritual. You will hear words like charismatic, strong, leader and great work ethic. Those are the types of people you would want to lead an organization. Does it matter if they are spiritual or not? People will have differing opinions on that subject mostly depending on their own personal position on spirituality. A person that is spiritual is considered ethical and caring. So whether you are spiritual or not most people would want someone like that as a leader in their organization. You do not have to be...

...and mileage are all continuous data. They are continuous data because they can be broken down to small units. The level of data that the car data is a ratio scale. The data is a ratio scale because each group of data can be broke down to find it mean, median, and mode. Below is a histogram graph of the car data provided. By using the data in the chart one can come up with many different measurement or center. Here is some example of measurement of center that is given in the graph and data average weight is 3316, average lengths 180, and the average number of cylinders is 5. There also is many measurement of variation that can be found in the data the following are some example of these measurement of variation that can be found. The variation of the weight is 1855, the variation of the length is 58, and the variation of the cylinder is 4. The information giving in my opinion is an example of probability distribution. It is probability distribution because the information is all links to each other. Each column information is link to the column before it and after it. The information giving is normal it is not a normal cure it is just simple normal. The information is normal because the data or graphs doesn’t show any unusual or any distortion in the information....

...Ashley Gray, a student from the University of Calgary, who stated her very own oppion in another column following Tajouri’s column in The Gauntlet. In Grays column “Yes, technology is distracting and wastes time in the classroom” discussed the problems with technology with in the classroom. Gray states that “reliance to technology borders on addiction” which may or may not be true. Gray persuades her readers that technology can waste class time when technical issues occur and that pen and paper is best to use in class along with a professors teaching properly by scribbling notes on the board. Yes indeed technology will have its problems but that doesn’t mean the lesion is forgotten. Assuming a problem did occur with a professor’s presentation, student would not just be allowed to go home. The professor will continue his/her lesson without a doubt. Technology isn’t perfect and nether are human beans, we all make mistakes. For example a student not being able to take reliable notes, because the professors hand writing or the color maker isn’t legible on the board. Other simple mistakes would be if a student forgot a pen, ran out of paper, ran out of ink or lead, or didn’t bring their book to class. so why is it that technology is unwanted in classroom for...

...1. CheckPoint: Navigation • Research the best practices for site navigation. • Find examples of effective site navigation from the Internet. • Identify examples of how you would like your site navigation to work and function. • Take a screen shot of at least one example. • Write a 700- to 1,500-word paper explaining the effective design features. Include the screen shot. • Post your paper as an attachment. I take great pride in making my site look great and also be extremely accessible. There are plenty of sites I visit that actually do not have the best navigational features or even the best looks to them. ESPN.com has always been one of the sites that I visit most frequently. Recently the design changed and I find it overall to be pretty good, but I would not like to mirror my site after its design. Another site that I constantly visit is that of IGN.com. This site used to be designed in a way that I loved. All of the best links could easily be found in the left hand column (Reviews, Previews, Release Dates, Codes and much more). The current site design is much more complicated and they actually left out some of the things that I visited often. It is almost impossible to browse reviews of older games without looking for a specific game. When I picture my website in my head there are a few things that I think of. I would like to have a graphic or banner at the top of the page that gets people attention and lets them...

...case, mass medium perform essential task in order to cast its effect to the audience and maintain the society. Many scholars have argued different functions of mass media. Even so, we can classify the functions of mass media into two categories: general functions and specific functions. Under the general functions of mass media, following points are incorporated. a. ...Guidelines for Conducting a Focus Group Surveys assume that people know how they feel. But sometimes they really don’t. Sometimes it takes listening to the opinions of others in a small and safe group setting before they form thoughts and opinions. Focus groups are well suited for those situations. Focus groups can reveal a wealth of detailed information and deep insight. When well executed, a focus group creates an accepting environment that puts participants at ease allowing then to thoughtfully answer questions in their own words and add meaning to their answers. Surveys are good for collecting information about people’s attributes and attitudes but if you need to understand things at a deeper level then use a focus group. If you’ve ever participated in a well-run focus group you’d probably say it felt very natural and comfortable to be talking with a group of strangers. What you didn’t know perhaps were the many hidden structures behind it all. A good focus group requires planning – a lot more planning than merely inviting a few key people to casually share their opinions about a topic. Outlined here are the details for conducting a high quality focus group. Also included are stepby-step instructions for making sense of all the information you collect in the groups. In this Guide you will find checklists for: Defining a focus group Designing focus group questions Recruiting and preparing for participants Conducting the focus group Analyzing the data You will also find...

...How Nurses and Physicians Influence Health Care Reform Deana Sykes King University In my opinion, nurses will have much more influence on health system reform than physicians over the next 10 years. Many believe that physicians are more influential because they are the decision makers and revenue generators. As Hackman (2010) expressed, “Combined with an aging population and an influx of patients into the U.S. health care system by 2016, a direct result of the Affordable Care Act, we will face an unavoidable shortage of primary care physicians. The physician shortage will be further complicated by the high attrition rate of the profession. I believe this will be the time that nurses, unified in numbers, can be the most influential. Inevitably, Advanced Practice Nurses, DNPs, Nurse Practitioners, and Nurse Midwives will have to fill in the gaps. Legislation in several states already seeks to extend these professionals' autonomy by allowing them to practice independently of physicians. The leadership roles and education opportunities will increase for nurses, hopefully allowing for increased wages. I do believe, however, since physicians and nurses are the closest providers of patient care, we can influence great change working as a team. In the interest of patient care, neither of these professions can stand alone. With effective collaboration and re-establishing our common purpose, quality of care can be positively impacted. Doctors and nurses can help to keep patient...

...MARKETING * When you finish this appendix you should • Understand the principles of forecasting. • Know the differences between Time Series and Regression Analyses. • Understand how expert opinion, sales forces and consumer opinions can all contribute to better forecasts. * by Beverley Thompson, The University of Western Sydney, Nepean Demand Forecasting in Mar keting w 689 An important part of the marketing planning process is the setting of goals that are realistic and achievable, given a particular marketing environment and level of marketing commitment. In marketing, such goals are usually based on market share objectives and sales targets, both of which require accurate forecasts of total market size, market size of target segments and likely market share within a targeted segment. W H AT A R E W E F O R E C A S T I N G ? Accurate forecasting requires a clear definition of the market in question. Markets may be differentiated on the basis of the following variables. GEOGRAPHY A market may be defined at world, country, state, region, sales territory, town, store or customer level. When formulating a forecast or other marketing plans, the geographical dimension must be clearly indicated. Planning Coca Cola consumption for the year 2000 Sydney Olympics for example, will necessitate the forecasting of increased consumption for the Sydney sales region, but not necessarily for Brisbane. TIME A forecast must be defined for a specific time period. Initially...

...social and spiritual aspects of an individual. However, with the advances seen in technology there has been a refocus of medicine from it’s caring, service oriented model to more of a technically oriented model that focuses on a cure. (Baylor University Medical Center Proceedings). There are good components of both of these models however encompassing them both would provide a more well rounded approach to treating the entire person today. Pluralism is an existence of coexisting. It encompasses a diverse group of views rather that the view of one individual. With pluralism we are more diverse in our ability to come to an agreement with multiple opinions. With scientism, the views or expressions they possess would be characteristic of a group of scientist that would hold the power of scientific knowledge as their base for opinions. They feel that they have the most authoritative worldview and that their view is the most valuable to us as humans. Postmoderism thinkers have a distrust of grand theories and ideologies. This postmodern view would come into conflict with a scientism view for obvious reasons. They do not believe that God exist. This writer is not a postmodernism thinker. Prime reality is a term that most closely identifies this writer. It identifies one who believes that Gods word is the truth. He is the forefront of all thinking. “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the...
