Everybody has read at least one book that has impacted them one way or another and certainly The Glass Castle was not an exception. As a matter of fact, from the beginning, The Glass Castle captures everyone and every sentence we read makes everyone want to read another one.The main character along her whole family all go through very tough and challenging physical, social, and inner obstacles that they must overcome to survive. This is a book that can impact a person’s life because everyone can connect to the main character one way or another.

They went from a bad place to a worse one and each with more challenges.Ultimately, at Welch, she finally understands that her parents are a lost case for her and her siblings. In the first place,the father drinks more and more and even put her life at risk On the other hand, her mother now spends all day sleeping and depressed. At this point in the story now, she finally decides to stop hoping for miracles like her mother and take action into her own hands. From here on, there is finally going to be a change, a good change, and it is because she made the decision that there had to be a change. The decision that, like her sister, she “ was going to get out of Welch. The sooner, the better.” Soon after she left, her brother followed and once everyone was in New York, they climbed up in society to the point where everyone was successful enough to never have to worry about tomorrow's food. For this reason, every reader connects to the main or the other characters and their struggles to their own by the end of the book, they should realize that it is up to them to change their future. The audience should not wait for a miracle like every character did, but instead take matters in their own hands like the Walls children and look for a way to solve their
