According to the conflict self- assessment, my conflict resolution style is avoiding. Avoiding is also known as withdrawing (Yonder-Wise, 2015). Destructive conflict with avoidance includes being unassertive and uncooperative. By avoiding a conflict, the issue tends to only escalate. A person with an avoiding conflict resolution style tends to avoid achieving goals, needs, and immediate concerns to pursue their own desires. Coworkers also tend to have difficulty getting input or understanding the person. This person also seems to be distant from others. Constructive conflict occurs with avoiding when a conflict needs reflecting upon, when walking away is the best option, when other issues are far more important, and when the negative out weights
