In 2002 a baby girl named Jennifer Ponce was born. Little did this baby know, she was about to go through a rollercoaster when making and losing friends. That baby girl was me. I started preschool in 2006 at the age of 3 going on 4 in October. In preschool I was a shy girl who kept to myself, in fact, I still am that way. I surprisingly managed to make 4 friends that I will forever keep dear to my heart. Unfortunately, I do not recall the names of these 4 friends, but I do remember the impact they made in my life. If it weren’t for these friends I would have sat alone at lunch, played recess by myself, and I would have dreaded waking up in the morning to go to school, even more than I already did. One thing that I remember vividly was in 2008 when I was in first grade. My best friend since kindergarten was moving schools halfway through the year. I was devastated. I remember going home and crying in my room and in an attempt to make me feel better my dad bought me my first diary in which I was able to freely express my emotions. The girl left her phone number with my teacher so that I would be able to call her even when she wasn’t there. I never called her, which is one of my biggest regrets to this day. I remember trying to call her a couple years later when I first got my cell phone, unfortunately, her number has since been changed. I will forever remember her bright
