I was walking with a couple of friends down the road one night. We were going past Lidtke Mill, when we heard a loud bang! At first we just thought something fell but when we went to go find out, it was much more than just something falling! When we walked into the entrance we saw the Upper Iowa river flowing extremely fast! Taylor and I said we were going to go check out the river. The other two girls, Kaylee and Savanna, said they were going to walk around and try to figure out what the loud bang was. In the building was Kaylee and Savanna, who were both laying on the ground! I had come to a complete stop with a shocked face. I started to approach them, making sure to be quite just in case they woke up and I scared them. But when I had got to them they didn't move an inch. I started to talk to them just like I did to the man who was lying at the edge on the shore line. They still were not moving a bit. I continued to talk to them, except when I was talking to them this time I had fear in my voice. I was shaking and very scared. I didn’t know what else to do so I stood up and started jogging towards Taylor and the man. When I got to them the man was ringing out his shirt. “Hey, do you know where Taylor went?” I asked the man. “Shes right over there.” He said pointing at the entrance from where we came in. I saw her standing there holding her phone above her head trying to get wifi. I then ran over to her and starting talking really fast. “Taylor, Kaylee and Savanna are laying on the ground in the building over there!” I said pointing towards the building. Taylor then looked at me in a very nervous way. “What, show me!” She said in a freaking out type of voice. We then started running over to the building where Kaylee and Savanna were at. Once we got to the doorway of the building we stopped running and walked inside. Kaylee and Savanna were still laying on the ground unconscious. Taylor asked what I did to try to get them up and awake. All I said was that I started to talk to them just like I did to the man. Taylor then decides to try to wake them up by shaking them awake. Kaylee then woke up but Savanna still was unconscious. Taylor and I started to ask Kaylee some questions about what happened to her and Savanna. But as soon as we asked our first question we heard the loud bang again! We then knew that we need to get out of that place! But we couldn’t leave Savanna there. Taylor
