Plagiarism is a major violation at not only Bethel University, but at any college period. It is imperative that college students learn the importance of APA writing format. Though some may believe that there is no harm in plagiarism, most understand why it is so important to give an author their credentials when used in a paper. Once students adjust and learn how write in APA format, they see how mediocre the MLA format is. APA format is used in a vast majority of ones's college courses research papers making it extremely difficult not to learn and adjust. I actually prefer cited papers in opposition to non-cited papers.
