A. In the United States, the discussion pertaining to gas prices has always been at the top of the list on angered citizens who are paying these prices. Many blame the government for being the reason behind the prices. There is not a clear an obvious way to obtain the same oil for a cheaper price, if there was it would have already been addressed. While many of these consumers say that government should tap into the petroleum reserve. This option however would only be a limited or temporary solution. The only way to avoid these high gas prices in my opinion would be through a cheaper alternative to gas.

B. I support the 2007-2009 increases in the federal minimum wage because many teenage children in the urban city work and go to school to contribute money to their households. Even though minimum wage earners are only a very little portion of the U.S population it still applies to many who do need these few dollars to get by in their everyday life.

C. The amount of inequality in the US may frighten some but I believe that it displays how competitive our country is. Businesses and its workers thrive on competition. With these businesses offering incentives to their workers, they develop top of the line production. There is nothing than can be done about the inequality unless a new form of government is put into place.
