The Reiman Gardens are a botanical garden for the university. Reiman Gardens are located just outside of the main ISU campus. The entrance is next to the Jack Trice Stadium parking lot. These gardens play two important roles in the local community, many people will only see the gardens as one role however. Reiman gardens provides breathtaking horticulture and entomology displays, and outstanding educational programming. Reiman Gardens’ atmosphere has a unique effect on students and the local community. The Reiman Gardens give ISU students a place to relax after a long day of classes. The local community can use the facilities at the gardens, including a classroom, and many nationally credited nature teachers to include in their lesson plan.
